Overall, this issue stands out as one of the best of the series and there really hasnt been a bad issue yet. The creative team continues to provide some of its best work and it shows. The issue is worth buying because of its art alone, but the care that Waid puts into his writing doesnt alienate new readers or push away seasoned fans. This is still a wonderful comic. I noticed the art getting a bit scratchy in places. I hope Mora isn't rushing to keep up.

I'm pretty sure he isn't because he is always in at least two montly books, he was on Detective and Once and Future at the same time, and after detective went directly to World's Finest and kept drawing Once and Future. After that was done he is working right now on the TMNT Power Ranger crossover

I love Dick chilling in the Batmobile listening to his Batmusic with his Batphones on his Batpad while undercutting obscenely rich billionaires. The irony is hilarious and you know Waid and Mora are clever enough to have planned it. I really appreciate the SatAm exposition for Metamorpho. As long as the character has been around, I've know what he does but never how he got his powers or what he had to go through to get them and become the person he is. Concise, beautifully rendered. It's like watching Justice League all over again. Plus we get Jimmy being Jimmy, and actual detective work. Who would have thought that would run well in a buddy-cop/Batman book?

I love seeing Batman with the yellow bat symbol on his chest. I like the beginning cold open and mystery with the Metamorpho origin story. Seeing Jimmy Olsen front and center was also cool and the last page was a slap in the face. Nice.
