Amazing Spider-Man #1

Spider-Man simplified down to the basics, loved every page, the humour might not be for everyone but I legitimately laughed out loud once or twice in this book which doesn't usually happen for me and I love the characters and character dynamics setup in this first issue. Overall a very promising start for Spencer and Ottleys run on Amazing Spider-Man.

Really good first issue for this mini series by Mark Waid and Javier Garron, I love the interactions between Scott and Nadia, just really fun and the setting of the Microverse just oozes with potential. I like what's set up here in terms of the Thetacorians and the discussion over whether they should interfere in the Microverse and the art really suits this book, Garron draws the Microverse and all of its creatures very nicely. Hopefully it continues to be this good if not better.

Solid second part of this series, packed with emotion, humour and some kooky sci fi with quality writing by Mark Waid and fun art by Javier Garron, I can't wait to see where this story goes next. I was initially worried about this book when it was announced but those fears have gone now, Waid and Garron know how to write/draw these characters and this story very well and this mini series has potential to be a favourite of mine for years to come, I recommend everyone pick this up for a good time, even if you aren't too familiar with Ant-Man and Wasp, we dive into their respective origins in this second issue.

This is my favourite issue yet, the art and writing are just so fun and wonderful. The aliens are so charming and likable, Scott and Nadia trying to navigate this world is so crazy and fun and overall this book is just so weird and enjoyable all around. I can't recommend this series enough if you just want a nice fun book to read.

As always hilarious and charming character interactions with nice art, so sad to see this series end but at least it looks like it's going out on top.

Promising start for Coates run on Cap, the plotlines and characters he sets up in this first issue have a lot of potential for exciting stories going forward and I'm really liking what he's doing with Cap and how the rest of the Marvel Universe interact with him after Secret Empire from the civilians to the military. The art is really good, fits the issue and Cap perfectly, can't wait to see where Coates takes this book next.

Mike Del Mundo is one of my favourite artists, everything he does is so magical and I'm really glad he's on this Thor book with Jason Aaron, could be a real superstar team. Really good first issue with Odinson back as Thor, love the whole idea of Thor having to use lots and lots of hammers to bring down his enemies now that Mjolnir is gone, added a nice comedic factor to this frst issue but also has promise for some epic moments down the line. Aarons run on Thor has been one of my favourite runs on any book to read, can't wait to see where he goes next.

The art in this issue is just so good, that coupled with the quality writing from Aaron make this a real good read. This issue mostly takes place in Hel and sets up a fair amount for the future of this series which I'm very excited for, love the Thor/Loki interactions in this issue and the interactions between Thor and everyone really. Solid second issue for this series.
