Solid issue, I did like the whole hunt with Cyber in issue #1 and think he is a really badass character. Just wish we would have more of Cyber instead of him being possessed by this gold adamantium. And as one reviewer pointed out, how fast Cyber ended up in Japan (5000 miles away) to infect Lady Death strike with the golden adamntium was goofy.
My personal complaint would be I think the whole Wendigo thing could have been solved on issue #2 and this issue could have had a new plot or get right into Cyber and Lady D.
Nothing would beat the brilliant back and forth between Cyber and Wolverine from issue #1 that was great.

Plot
Wolverine fights the Wendigo, but he escapes. Wolverine sees a wounded Department H soldier and heals him using his blood. He then tracks down the Wendigo and fights him, giving him a near-fatal wound and the young man inside the Wendigo begs for mercy and Wolverine knocks him out.
A Department H soldier follows them and Wolverine explains that Cyber was the one who killed the people. Wolverine takes the Wendigo away and explains that he must control his animal instincts so that he can stop being a monster.
In Japan, Cyber controls Lady Deathstrike with a golden liquid that binds to the adamantium in his nails, and Cyber is also all golden.
They arrive to hunt him down. They are hunting a monster that has cl
aws that killed some children.
This chapter returns to Cyber's paused plot and closes everything related to the Wendigo.
Art
It's very detailed with lots of textures and moves us through different scenarios, it's a unique and mesmerizing art, it presents epic and mind-blowing attack poses.

I think the art suffers a little bit here. Also, the issue spends too much time on certain places, Ahmed really clears his vision on what the series is. Again it exemplifies what from the ashes does best, which is to present characters that feel like they have history, that constantly even when running from their trauma, they can't turn a blind eye to it.
As I have said I think we spent too much time on the fighting scenes and just moments that does not carry much weight and it felt a bit chaotic in that the characters popped left and right. Still, there is a charm to it, I like the free-flowing nature of the comics, it makes what happens way more real, unforced, and honestly, wolverine is like a glue to it all. He somehow makes it all
feel less random when the monologue is so good.
Would have liked it even more if the end we did not move from the forest and Wolverine to see what the villains were doing, because it kinda broke the atmosphere and exactly this feeling of just observing Wolverine and his thoughts continually. Also the ending in general seems rushed.
Overall not as meticulously crafted as the last, but still pretty nice reading experience

This book was less than the sum of its parts in my opinion. The art was good, the writing was good, and yet I found myself mostly bored by it. So much time spent on Wolverine's interactions with the Wendigo dragged it down. I know it's just a personal preference thing, a kid wendigo who is struggling to retain some of his own mind sounds cool enough on paper, but I was just bored. I think I'll start enjoying this more with the next arc, with the gold tainted adamantium or whatever is going on there and Lady Deathstrike and Cypher. Wolverine has one of the best rogues galleries in my opinion, below Batman but above Spider-man (whose rogues I've always though were overrated beyond Green Goblin), and I like seeing someone other than Sabre
tooth getting some shine. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. more

Good stuff. I do share the sentiment that others of pointed out, in that Cóccolo's art, overall, was not his best here. Some pages looked great, and others looked a bit off. Either way, the story was super solid here, as well. I'm interested to see if Leonard sticks around, and for how long if he does.

Eh. How a book with so much action can be boring is a mystery to me and now this speechless thing somehow got 5000 miles away to Japan? I guess I should just be glad Cyber was actually in THIS issue. Ahmed could have put in a short of him stowing away on a flight or boat or....SOMETHING last issue and done away with a page of Wolverine holding Wendigo's hand. Things just happen because the writer needs them to happen to progress his story I guess? IDK about this book. If it doesn't pick up soon I'll be dropping it.
