Moon Knight #12 ends the year-long arc and conflict against Zodiac with great art, great dialog, and plenty of urgency to race readers to the final battle. However, the main villain is defeated too easily, and nothing is revealed about his plan or motivations for a completely dissatisfying ending. This issue was supposed to be the big payoff, but all you get is a few pennies and pocket lint. Read Full Review

On the plus side, the issue does feature Zombie Moon Knights. On the other hand the battle the comic has been building for months sort of just ends rather than conclude, with Steven Grant taking control and preventing Marc Spector from taking any further vengeance out after the villain is rendered unconscious. Not sure what's next for our hero, but I'm guessing his god won't wait to long to cash in the favor he's owed. Read Full Review

While the ending isn't quite what I expected, I'm very interested to see what happens with the alternate personalities finally being introduced in this run. Steven Grant and Jake Lockley are the biggest aspect of Moon Knight that was missing in this run, and I'm excited that they're finally here. Their absence didn't make the series bad by any means, but it's such a notable part of the character that I thought they would have appeared at this point. Nonetheless, another great issue from the incredible duo of MacKay and Cappuccio. As always, I need more Moon Knight content from them.

It's a tense, speedy combat comic. The verbal and visual storytelling is good -- but both have been done better in this volume. The story being told, though, is nearly flawless. This remains an extremely good comic; the two-ton twist ending certainly helps it land with a bang.

I'll be honest, I feel underwhelmed. It had some good parts but, it had almost every cliche in the book, and felt very anticlimactic for the ending of a long arc like that.
