Hopefully, we get a sequel to the series. Dark Ages #6 leaves more than enough out there to build a really interesting follow up. Unfortunately, due to an exclusive deal with DC, any sequel won't have the talent of Tom Taylor. I thought it was a harmless and fun What If Scenario. dont know why a lot of people dont like this compared to DCeased though, would love ot hear everyone's thoughts

I didn't mind this final issue, but I will say, I feel like the story was significantly rushed, especially with the tacked on moral at the end. This definitely won't endure the times the way Injustice or DCeased seem like they will (sorry Marvel), but it's a fine story. They should slap the Zdarsky What If logo on the trade, btw.

Not too much to say here. It's an ending of a piece with the rest of the series: Satisfying, beautifully drawn (though the visuals are a touch dated), aggressively not deep. Maybe it comes across a little rushed. Dark Ages wound up being a great popcorn comic: Something fun and exciting to read that never demanded much in the way of thought.

It was probably the best issue since the first but, that is not saying much. I liked the first issue. I wanted to like this series but, overall, I can't say it's worth the read.
