Feb 23, 2022Dark Ages #5sets the stage for an epic confrontation between the Marvel Universe's heroes and Apocalypse's forces, and continues to upend the post-apocalyptic genre with both its story and its art. Though this may be Taylor's final Marvel story for a while, he's going out with a bang. Read Full Review

Feb 26, 2022Dark Ages #5 is a great example of controlled escalation. Even though there is now only one issue left in the Dark Ages story it doesn't feel like we are rushing to that end. Feb 23, 2022Individual elements of the series work; Taylor has an excellent grasp on Deadpool's sense of humor and knows how to hit familiar high notes within the Marvel canon. Yet the juxtaposition of these dire stories against splashes with children leaping ahead (into battle) and jokes played out against supposedly terrifying threats undermine the entire ordeal Read Full Review
