    Comic Watch - B. Radtz

Jeds back, weaving a tale of darkness and terror, and against insurmountable odds, yet the Avengers continue to hold the line. Their members are resilient, and even with their numbers diminished, they are still here fighting for everyone. MacKay gets what makes these characters tick, and it shows with every page. We have two more chapters, and I cant wait to see how this turns out. Read Full Review

Blood Hunt only has two issues left, but the creative team is more or less saying they plan to deliver a hell of an ending with this issue. Read Full Review

Overall, Blood Hunt #3 is a suspenseful and action-packed chapter that deepens the conflict and throws a curveball at the heroes. Pick it up if you're enjoying Blood Hunt and want to see the heroes face even greater challenges. If you prefer a more optimistic superhero story, you might want to skip this series. Nerd Initiative - Ken M.

An Avenger takes the spotlight by force with a turning point felt around the MCU. MacKay pens a balanced issue while the latter half elevates the chapter. Larraz, Gracia and Petit constrict the highly emotional reactions to Marvels bloody event with ease. The saga leaves with another big moment to exemplify why this is no ordinary story. Its an event for a reason. Read Full Review

    Graphic Policy - Brett

Blood Hunt #3 is a solid issue with an epic ending that feels familiar but grand at the same time. What's been interesting is that while the event is on a planetary scale, it still feels small and focused. It's very smart in a lot of ways keeping the distractions to the tie-ins and mini-series that have spun out to it. While the threat is huge, it's an intimate story of hope while facing the threat of annihilation. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Weird Science Jim

    Jun 12, 2024

Blood Hunt #3 does little to progress the story and even less in terms of explanation and excitement. Yet another cliffhanger falls flat and Sam Wilson's Independence Day speech was more cringe that inspirational. The event so far has been uninspired and while I hope Jed MacKay can turn that around in the final issues, I don't have my hopes up. The art by Pepe Larraz is great, though, and is the reason my score is as high as it is. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez

Blood Hunt #3 assembles the Avengers before splitting them into teams to tackle the vampire apocalypse on multiple fronts. Larraz's art is fantastic, but this story is almost all setup, posturing, and speeches that fail to build hype for whatever comes next. Read Full Review
