While I truly enjoyed the art and story in this book, the fact that it is an Avengers issue that only features one hero put me off a bit. I love Black Panther and this was a great peek into where he is mentally, I found myself missing the rest of the team by the end of the issue. Of course, the book itself was still great but the fact that we never got a single cutaway to what was happening with the rest of The Avengers keeps me from giving this one a higher rating. Plot Black Panther continues his dangerous mission inside the Meridian Diadem Prison, trying to understand what is happening there. There he saves Harno and Ruatl, who bring him up to date on what is happening. This pocket universe serves as a prison for thousands of beings from different planets, who live under the yoke of the Loyalists, those who were jailers who followed the orders of Meridian Diadem. When Meridian was defeated by the Avengers, she was put into a state of animated suspension and stopped giving orders. This power vacuum generated an uprising of the prisoners, but due to their lack of coordination they separated into gangs and the Loyalists continue to control food and supplies. Black Panther feels that he was tr ained since childhood for this, to dethrone a tyrannical government without any unlimited resources like what he had in Wakanda. Black Panther leads a revolution and gets the gangs to unite as tribes of Wakanda and take power. When you enter this pocket universe, beings are biologically altered and then they can no longer escape because they die in another environment, we will see if this affects Black Panther. Art With many textures that allow the impressive details of this illustrator to stand out. The color palette works in order to highlight all those textures. The art is mesmerizing and magnificent. Summary Black Panther comes to free a world oppressed by tyrants, exactly what he was trained for all his life. Exciting chapter full of action and suspense more

It was an ok standalone issue, I always appreciate Black Panther stories, but this one just didn't hit with me as much as usual. I'm ready to get back to the main Avengers story.

What the hell even is this? A complete filler issue. T'Challa runs away to fight a war alone because he wants to get away from Ororo. This issue is complete garbage. This war was barely set up and came out of nowhere. I'm going to see what he does with a couple of issues of the new AvX. If Jed doesn't do better, I'm out even though I love Storm.
