Oct 27, 2018Amazing Spider-Man has felt like a breath of fresh air since the three-headed monster of Spencer, Ramos, and Ryan Ottley took over, steadily improving with each subsequent issue. This issue is a testament to that, easily the best effort by the creative team thus far. Fun and full of heart, this is Amazing Spider-Man as its meant to be. Read Full Review

Oct 24, 2018'Amazing Spider-Man' is one of Marvel's best current titles. Spencer and company continue to make Spidey engaging, fun to read and sort of the totem pole of the Marvel Universe. Not a book to be missed. Swing by your local comic shop and grab this up before the Thieves Guild gets to it! Read Full Review

Oct 24, 2018This is a good issue that sets up some new conflicts and villains for Spider-Man to face off against. Unfortunately, it continues to not highlight Spidey in the suit and instead spends a lot of time setting up villains or focusing on non-Spider-Man characters. As a setup issue, it's intriguing, but its slower pace can be frustrating. Read Full Review

Oct 25, 2018Amazing Spider-Man #8 was a fun start to Nick Spencer's new story arc. Spencer continues to do a great job writing Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson's renewed relationship. While the introduction of the Thieves Guild was not perfect the presentation of their leader, Odessa Drake, was well executed. Add in the ending involving the return of Black Cat and there is enough for fans to be excited about for what will after the events in this issue. Read Full Review
