Hmm guess I'm in the minority, I happen to prefer Derington's art over Marquez, especially Marquez at DC. Marquez's art at Marvel was far superior due to his pairing with the late great colorist Justin Ponsor. Derington's art in this issue was a treat for me.

The beginning of the issue does not grab you at all. Almost felt as though it was a filler issue of some type. But as you progress through the issue, the story grabs you and doesn't want to let you go. The introduction of the Hordecutlrure in this issue was pretty good, but Jonathan Hickman's jokes, well, weren't funny.
The art is slowly growing on me, and there are moments where it truly

Every point i gave is for Hickman. His strong storytelling has given Cyclops all of the credit he has deserved since his creation. So far the characters are dynamic and full of new hope, with a serious edge to them. I love it.
Apparently , from reading other critics, I am alone in being disgusted with Leinil Francis Yu's art. It looked like a fifth graders sketch book ! One frame Cyclops' nos

DC BLACK LABEL

Murphy continues his masterpiece. It always blows my mind up to see the series exceeding my wildest imaginations without becoming borderline fan-fiction, which often happens to products really trying to satisfy the fans. What also terrifies me, is how much I care about every character in White Knight. As I write this review, I feel in my hands I'm one step from shaking, that's how intense this com more

The most obvious thing anyone should notice in this book, is how much the art quality dropped, compared to the first story arc. Nick Derington is no David Marquez, let's just say, and his work makes the series look like it took one step back.
Fortunately, the plot is as solid as before - Williamson knows how to take concepts abandoned by other, les competent writers, and give them some

Fair enough. It sure is a matter of taste, I guess. I got used to this particular run having Marquez's style, I've never been a fan of drastic creative direction changes in ongoing series.

Batman: Last Knight on Earth #2
The world has been destroyed, and Batman is on a quest to find out who's responsible. But when villains from his past begin to complicate things for the Dark Knight, he finds an unlikely ally in a place known as "the Plains of Solitude."
Snyder continues to delve deep into the dystopian, deconstructed world he's created for the series, and as with #1, this issue is trippy as well. It's by far one of the best elseworld tales we've seen in years, but also one that's confusing as hell. So far the series didn't offer us much answers to never ending questions. Quickly progressing action doesn't help either - and if there's a gripe I ha more

This is a ground setting issue, but a really great one. I'm excited for JJJ's podcast (which is what the next arc will be about) and Norah Winters possibly becoming part of the cast (I mean, she was in issue 13, but that was so long ago). I'm also excited to see what Spider-Man can do with the clairvoyant. He is basically the only hero that can be trusted with that, and I love how Nick Spencer imm more

Superman #18
With Superman's family scattered across the galaxy, our hero must confront some of his greatest concerns about himself and his place in the galaxy. Legendary artist Ivan Reis joins writer Brian Michael Bendis as they introduce the biggest change in the Man of Steel's life ever!
Sigh.
I wish I could say my disappointment was anything other than expected. The idea is unoriginal, especially given the events of the last several years. The execution is lacking, with the most interesting revelations done in silence and shadow. Ivan's art plays well in these moments but I can't help feeling cheated of much-needed character interaction between Clark & Perry in favor
