Rook: Exodus #6

This was hands down my favorite issue so far. It felt like Rook has come into himself and is ready to face what he must face, in a way he's never done before. As we see his character development alongside his birds, we're also faced with an unexpected turn of events that makes this story so much more than it already was. ROOK: EXODUS #6 is a banger of a finale to the first arc with fast-paced action, stunning visuals, and a satisfying conclusion. Great end to the first arc. Rook finally comes into his own and finds equilibrium with the birds and is rewarded for this enlightenment pretty quickly. The threat was neutralized rather abruptly and conveniently, but it doesn't take away from what was a great finale. Great art, great writing, love the plot and setting and background. Looking forward to what comes next.

The story ends its first arc very strongly. A full character arc for Rook that feels like the climax to the first "film". This is exactly the type of book I want to read. Im hoping the gap provides no drop in intensity and great quality that has been delivered.

A nice Max Max action-packed close-out to the first arc of the story. I still don't understand why they are fighting over a dying planet and if Direwolf's dad could fix the world engines this entire time, why didn't the corporation force him to do it rather than lose billions of dollars of investment? There are some holes here. Plus I created Poe the raven in a comic and novel called Shadow Raven in 1995. He also appeared in the 4th Destiny Aurora novel in 2022. this was really solid. Although I like Geiger more, I like this first arc. Jason Fabok is one of the greatest artists of all time, and it clearly shows in his work. I think this is his most consistent work. Overall, I had a fun time with this series. I'm excited for the next arc.
