Basketful of Heads #7 is a fitting end to one of the most head-rolling, creative horror comics in a long time. A justifiably unpredictable ending to an instant classic.

Batman: Nightwalker is an exceptionally well written and drawn Bruce Wayne story that highlights why he is the world's greatest detective.

A family of monster hunters must stop monsters called Jinoo from taking over the world in this jaw-dropping stunning new series.

When you're talking about a comic that relates to current real-world issues, Black Cotton is as relevant as it gets. The story is deep and hopefully will make readers open up to the world around them. The climax leaves us with a surprising cliffhanger, so it'll be interesting to see how the story unfolds next. If there's one comic you should be talking about, it's Black Cotton #2.

Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips bring back their classic graphic novel CRIMINAL in a new monthly series of the same name, CRIMINAL #1. The first issue shows the length of which a father will go to protect his son.

Secrets are revealed as Senator Barnaby's plan to start a nuclear war continue to grow closer to reality. You may never look at spaghetti the same ever again after reading this issue.

Dying Is Easy #2 a fast-paced issue that never loses focus on where it's headed. It's a must-read.

Escape #3 is an adrenaline fueled journey filled with heart, determination and a man's will to survive.

Monarch #1 is a terrific start to what looks to be a very promising fantastic sci-fi adventure. Each page is better than the last, with art and colors that give it an extinction-level event feel. Monarch #1 is an excellent start and a must-read.

Plush #6 brings Wagners and Hillyard's cannibal chaos to a close but not without one finally ride of hilarious laughs and killer death moments.

Justin Jordan and Rebekah Isaac continue to be an artistic tour de force delivering a fun, action-packed adventurous tale.

Bad Mother #2 helps sell the emotional aspect of the first issue and stacks the deck against the main character, April. It'll be interesting to see what she does next to try and get her daughter back. Otherwise, the pacing, writing, and art are all solid here.

An impactful issue with a lot of heart and emotion written on every page.

'Bitter Root' continues to deliver a strong, bold, and noble story brimming with intensively creative action and inventive scenarios.

A refreshing dive back into the 'Chew' universe with new characters, same great dialogue, and a promising storyline.

Crowded #8 is a strong issue that takes our two main protagonists to the bright lights of Vegas.

This is not only a fitting end to the series, but a great story with some really good detective work.

Season Two of FARMHAND draws to a close in game-changing fashion. With Jedidiah gone, only Ezekiel and Andrea stand in the way of Mayor Thorne's diabolical designs for the Farm. From writer/artist Rob Guillory and colorist Taylor Wells comes FARMHAND #10

OUTER DARKNESS #1 by John Layman and Afu Chan is the story of Captain Joshua Rigg and his misfit crew as they warp through space on an unforeseen mission. What could possibly go wrong? There's no telling where their voyage will take them but I definitely request permission to board for the ride.

'Reaver' #9 is a defining moment of clarity for one of the series' biggest and baddest characters, Essen Breaker.

Mateus Santolouco never ceases to amaze with his TMNT stories, and Shredder in Hell #4 is just another great addition.

Gail Simone and Walter Geovani have created another comic masterpiece.

Overall, Lewis and Sherman look to have a hit on their hands with THUMBS #1. The story structure is very solid and the artistry Sherman provides is mesmerizing with each turn of the page. It's almost downright scary how close to reality the plot pinpoints. This is a comic you need to read.

The Six Sidekicks of Trigger Keaton #1 is a must-read. If you're a fan of movies like Knives Out and The Usual Suspects, you'll love this book. Make sure to add it to your list during your next trip to your local comic shop, and be sure to pick up all the cool variants they have for it as well.

The Six Sidekicks of Trigger Keaton continues to be a terrific book, and issue #3 ramps up the mystery. All I can say is that if you're not reading this book, you are missing out on a great time.

A Righteous Thirst for Vengeance #2 is an engaging head trip that you won't be able to put down.

A Righteous Thirst for Vengeance #4 is an enticing train of mystery, murder, and madness that you'll want to hop aboard.

'Anti/Hero' is a amazing story about two girls from different backgrounds whose lives are tested when a device switches their bodies. It's fun and highly entertaining.

Bad Mother #3 is a good, quick read that makes you want to come back for the fourth issue. Solid script, fantastic imagery as always, and superbly engaging, Faust and Deodato continue to push the boundaries of their creativity.

Bad Mother#4 is a nice setup leading to the final issue. The story still feels fresh, entertaining, and unpredictable. There was a great usage of transitions, pacing, and well-executed action sequences.

Bad Reception #1 is a great first issue for a horror series that may prove that sometimes technology is a good thing.

A thrillingly entertaining ride that sheds light on the main protagonists and gets you excited to read the next issue. Great story

Basketful of Heads #3 is another great prequel issue that explains the events that lead up to the opening of the first issue of the series.

Basketful of Heads #4 brings us right over the halfway point and continues to be unpredictable, fresh and filled with suspense.

Basketful of Heads #5 sheds a lot of light on the conspiracy that June Branch is trapped in Brody Island.

Batman: One Dark Knight #3 closes the three-issue series spectacularly with Batman doing what he does best: kicking ass and delivering witty dialogue that we've come to know and love from the Caped Crusader.

Batman: The Knight #2 tells a great story worthy of the Batman legacy, and I can't wait to see what happens next. If you're not reading this series, fear not, as this is only the second entry, so you still have time to catch up. Support your local comics retailer and get your copy of Batman: The Knight #2 today.

Batman: The Knight #3 is a must-read for sure. The story in its entirety is shaping up to be a true classic in the making and could lead to Zdarsky bringing more Batman storylines of this caliber to the forefront.

Beyond the Pale #3 continues reporter Hetta Sawyer's nightmarish journey to find out what happened to nine missing Black soldiers and the horrifying truth.

'Big Girls' #1 is an epic beginning to a dystopian Earth filled with monsters, incredibly tall women, and an unpredictable journey of adventure ahead.

Black Terror #1 is a fantastic start to a series with a lot of potential. It's witty, smart, and just an all-around good time. I'm already casting Simon Pegg in my head as the guy I'd love to see play Bob Benton in a TV series. If you love stories like Watchmenor The Death-Defying Devil, you'll love this book.

Brynmore #1 may not seem spooky at first, but the final pages offer an unexpected twist that will leave you eager for the second issue. Overall, the comic is intriguing and worth sticking with to see where the story goes next. It's definitely worth picking up.

Chariot #2 is a blast to read and only leaves you more intrigued to keep up with the series. This book has the potential to be one of the best to come out in 2021. It's got heart, action, a solid story, and more.

Chicken Devil #1 is a hard-hitting first issue that changes Mitchell Moss's life forever and sets him on the path to becoming Chicken Devil.

Chicken Devil #2 is a hilarious and nail-biting crime dramedy that you have to read if you're a fan of the comedy and action genres.

Overall, Chu #2 was a blast to read and just reinforces what made most people fans of the original series. It's a fast-paced fun time that wastes no time kicking the story into high gear while supplying plenty of laughs and the type of twisted shenanigans that only writer John Layman knows how to deliver.

'Chu' #3 is another great entry that continues to breathe new, fresh and exciting life into the series.

Chu #4 is another fun installment in the series. Four books in and it feels like the hijinks and crazy shenanigans are just getting started. The writing and art get better with each issue and the ending will make you come back to read the next one.

Saffron Chu steps out of her brother Tony's shadow and solidifies herself as her own leading lady in Chu #6.

Chu #7 is another fun, entertaining, and engaging entry to the series. Saffron is well on her way to being a bonafide badass who seems to enjoy the thrill of being a criminal. Only time will tell if her confidence will finally meet its match. If you're looking for a comic that'll make you laugh while providing a hell of a good time, look no further than Chu #7.

'Chu' #8 tells another great part of Saffron Chu's story and sends the second arc into new and dangerous territory for the characters.

Chu #9 brings Saffron Chu face to face with the man she tried to rob, Donetti Bucatini, in a full-circle moment that will change everything.

I highly recommend adding Creepshow Vol. 2 #4 to your Christmas wish list. This is an excellent opportunity to support your local comic shops during the holiday season while indulging in some spine-tingling horror stories.

The Big Bleed out is a great new addition to the Cal McDonald legacy. It pays homage to great characters of the old noir days like Humphrey Bogart while telling a fresh new tale.

Criminal Macabre: The Big Bleed Out #2 is over more quickly than you want it to be and packs a good punch. Every page is filled with the stuff comic dreams are made of. Hopefully, Cal keeps his head above water long enough to see through whatever Victoria's real agenda for him is. You'll definitely want to add this book to your next trip to the comic shop.

Criminal Macabre #3 kicks the actions into high gear and prepares us for the final issue.

Crowded continues to be an enjoyable and hilarious series.

'Dead Body Road: Bad Blood' #2 is a great hunted-becomes-the-hunter issue that makes this action crime drama one to keep your eye on.

Dead Body Road Bad Blood #3 continues to deliver great action and awesome characters while building toward an exciting climatic ending.

Dead Body Road: Bad Blood #5 lays a thick layer of character development that sticks, but it's not for the character most readers would think.

Dead Body Road #6 is an all-bets-are-off, guns-blazing showdown with an ending you won't see coming.

'Die!Die!Die!' #10 takes a fun jab at politics while continuing to pick up steam as an awesome action series.

Dying is Easy #1 is a great new story by Joe Hill and Martin Simmonds that offers an interesting take on the whodunnit trope involving an ex-police officer turned comedian turned possible murderer.

Dying is Easy #4 is a climactic, full-circle issue that makes you want to root for Syd in clearing his name.

EVE #1 delivers a brilliant setup for a voyage of courage, love, fear, and bravery into the unknown.

Farmhand #12 continues to add fuel to the flaring fire in Freeport. It's funny, intriguing, and the artwork just keeps getting better.

Farmhand #15 is a fantastic issue that feels like the season finale that sets the stage for more great things to come.

Rob Guillory doesn't miss a beat in Farmhand #16, a refreshing and fun return to Freetown. If you're looking for a horror comic with some humor thrown in, Farmhand #16 is an excellent place to start.

Farmhand #19 is a fun read that brings many characters into new and scary territory. The pacing is spot on, and the script for this issue does a great job setting up the Erie things to come in future issues. Farmhand #19 is not a book to miss.

Farmhand isn't just a tale of killer crops or corporate greed run amok, it's a story about roots: the ones we're born with and the ones we choose to plant ourselves. Guillory took what could have been a quirky agricultural gimmick and cultivated it into something grotesque, heartfelt, and hilarious in equal parts.

The Feeding, pun intended, is straight-up killer. The storytelling is smooth as hell, the transitions are terrific, and the journey it takes you on is awesome. It's got everything you're looking for in a horror comic: creepy moments and big reveals. If you're into horror flicks or love scary comics, The Feeding is going to be right up your alley.

Flawed #1 is a terrific start to an in-your-face comic book about corruption and a flawed judicial system.

A funny and memorable engaging story about the joys and agony of dating.

Garcia, Mendez, and Templer are a well-oiled machine giving us the GLOW comic we need.

GLOW vs the Babyface #3 is a delightful treat filled with nostalgic pop-culture references and fun and hysterical moments. I can't wait to read the next one. Keep em coming.

Grim #1 is a terrific story about the difficulties of life and death scenarios.

Haha #4 gives you another reason to love W. Maxwell Prince's ongoing series with some incredible watercolor work from artist Patrick Horvath.

Harleen #2 is a great story that puts us deeper inside the mind of Harley Quinn. It's an insightful glimpse at how the monsters that roam the earth aren't just the ones locked away in a prison cell. Stejic's art continues to be glorious to look at.

I Hate This Place #3 turns horror comics on their heads with a thrilling and unpredictable issue.

Immortal Sergeant #1 is a great first issue that introduces Jim Sargent, a cop on the verge of retirement with one last case to solve.

In Hell We Fight #1 introduces us to a interesting band of misfits as they embark on a quest to quench a sweet tooth for ice cream that unbeknownst them is about to lead them on a adventure through the depths of hell.

Devour is a scary look on the dangers that come with our obsession to be thin and healthy.

Overall, Klik Klik Boom #1 is a really fun read that will leave you wanting more. The pacing is great, the storytelling is terrific, and the characters are all really engaging. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here!

Klik Klik Boom #3 packs a punch with its riveting Polaroid shots, heart-pounding action scenes, and witty sprinkles of humor.

Klik Klik Boom #4 is a kickass good time that brings Sprout face to face with the man who pulled the trigger on her father.

Everything comes full circle in the finale to this Polaroid-filled action and suspense comic.

Little Monsters #1 is an intriguing start to a fresh and engaging take on the apocalypse and vampire genres.

Marjorie Finnegan #1 is the perfect start to Garth Ennis's take on time travel. If you like films like Hot Tub Time Machine, Bill & Ted, and Timecop but wish they had a helluva lot more violence, then this story is for you.

Writer Scott Snyder and artist Tony S. Daniel invite us into a world where the sun sets forever and the planet has been plunged into darkness.

A hard-hitting tale of politics, second chances, and the start of a great genre thriller.

Overall, On the Stump #2 is an awesome second issue that is so much fun to read. There's so much this story offers and our main protagonist and antagonist haven't even crossed paths yet. Do yourself a favor and make sure to support your local comic shops during these troubling times and mail order your copy of On the Stump #2 -- you'll thank me later. The art, the writing, the lettering, and covers are all sensational.

'On The Stump' #3 shows a great depiction of the underhanded things people will do to get laws passed to benefit themselves.

ORIGINS #4 is a turning point in the war against The Network.

Plush #3 delivers another grand entry into this bloody story about cannibals and love gone extremely wrong.

Radiant Black #4 is a magnificent sci-fi adventure with a few tricks up its sleeve.

Radiant Black is the superhero book we need but don't deserve. It raises so many questions and leaves us on such a great cliffhanger you'll be begging Image to push the release date up for the next volume. Writer Kyle Higgins and artists Eduardo Ferigato and Marcelo Costa have created a fantastic and standout issue that phenomenally closes the first arc.

Radiant Black #7 takes the series to new and exciting territory, and I can't wait to see what the creative team behind the book has in store for readers this go-round. If you're not already reading Radiant Black, you should be because it's incredible.

Radiant Black #8 raises the bar once again and continues to throw monkey wrench after monkey wrench at our crew of radiant heroes.

Radiant Black #10 is an intensely fun read. Just when you think things can't get any better, Kyle Higgins and Marcelo Costa find ways to outdo themselves with every issue, and issue #10 is no exception. I implore you to read this series and grab every issue you can find because it's so good, and you won't be sorry.

Reaver #3 is a wildly entertaining ride. Jordan and Isaac continue to tell a solid focused story with some humor mixed in at the right moments.

Reaver #6 brings volume one to a close with some shocking revelations and intense action. It's not an issue to miss.

Reaver #7 is a great follow up that dives into the character of Essen Breaker aka The Devil's Son with an impactful adventure that holds the same intensity and excitement as the first arc.

'Reaver' #8 is a great issue that continues to build the great story that Justin Jordan has put together.

Things get real in 'Reaver' #10. Essen Breaker and Rekala have located the missing children of Haas Haden. It's a punch-you-square-in-the-face issue that provides a pivotal moment where The Devil's Son becomes what he's really meant to be: a hero.

Reaver #11 is such a great send-off issue that looks to catapult us back into the bigger picture of the Reaver series. With some of his demons off his shoulder, perhaps Breaker will come one step closer to realizing he's more than a weapon of death. Only time will tell. In the meantime, whether you're a few issues behind or new to the comic, it's a great time to catch up.

Redemption #4 sets up a perfect path of destruction that's guaranteed to make you come back for the final issue. It's fun and pretty violent but in a good way. If you're not up to date on the series, now is the time to get caught up.

'Rogue Planet' #3 provides a glimmer of hope for it's crew while continuing to terrorize readers with its fantastic story.

Overall, Shadecraft #1 is a new series you'll want to check out. If you love shows like Chilling Adventures of Sabrina or Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you'll love Shadecraft. The book was already picked up by Netflix to become a TV show, so you'll definitely want to snag a copy to keep up with the story.

Shadecraft #3 takes the story to new heights that feel fun, fresh, and unpredictable. The most noteworthy addition is the arrival of Agent Angela Owens -- ultimately, time will tell if she's a friend or foe. Until that time comes, your guess is as good as mine.

Shadecraft #5 is an absolutely fantastic voyage into shadows and weirdness that amps you up even more to see this become a live-action series.

Snotgirl #14 continues to show the artistic star power of O'Malley and Hung, plus it's a really fun story to keep up with.

Something is Killing the Children #3 is a solid buildup issue that sets things in the right direction for the story that's about to unfold. It's mysterious, creepy, and such fun to read.

If you're not already reading this series, you need to catch up. Something is Killing the Children #4 is just another awesome addition to one of 2019's best horror comics.

In Something is Killing the Children #11, James Tynion IV delivers another masterful entry into what is fast becoming a horror comic classic.

Something is Killing the Children #15 is a nightmarish, nostalgic rollercoaster ride of terror. The monsters, the mystery, and of course Erica Slaughter are all great. Tynion and Dell'Edera have only begun to scratch the surface of the potential for this series.

Space Bastards #2 is a winner.

Spawn #299 serves as a continuously great build-up issue that prepares us for the unforeseen events that will unfold in Spawn #300.

Spawn #300 serves as a great issue to launch Spawn into a new and exciting story arc.

Step by Bloody Step #2 is a magnificent journey deeper into a well-crafted world of unforeseen dangers and adventure.

Step by Bloody Step #3 is a game-changing issue that will leave readers stunned and confused, but in a good way.

Stillwater #2 is such a fun and weird ride. The pacing, script, and artwork are all dynamite. There are a lot of layers to pull back on Stillwater, and I think Zdarsky and Perez are just getting started.

Tear Us Apart #1 is a bloody romance filled with love, chaos and an infinite amount of possibilities where the stories headed.

The Closet #3 is a savage reality for the demons we create unexpectedly.

The Good Asian #1 not only starts conversations, but is a memorable and impactful comic. It's great to see stories that show the progress we've made over time and the bridges we still need to cross. Pichetshote and Tefenkgi's vision rings loud and clear. It'll be interesting to see how far they push the envelope with future issues.

In The Good Asian #2, Edison Hark continues his investigation on the disappearance of his surrogate father's missing love interest, Ivy Chen.

The Masked Macher dropkicks a smart blend of humor, wrestling and 1930s Hollywood nostalgia while delivering a fresh take on both worlds.

The Masked Macher #2 is even more fun than the first, and you can just feel there's more in store for readers, which is awesome. The characters are likable, and the jokes land on every page. If you're a fan of the golden age of cinema and wrestling, like myself, then you'll love this book.

Transformers: Last Bot Standing delivers a post-apocalyptic feel to the Transformers Universe where one remaining warrior will stand as a hero one last time.

Transformers/Back to the Future #1 is fun, nostalgic, and makes you want to come back for the second issue. The pacing, action, and story are worth checking this book out. There are also a few cool variant covers to look for as well if you can get your hands on them.

Almighty #1 is a badass comic with a lot of promise. The story has heart, grit, good writing, and strong Mad Max vibes. The first issue is a quick read and immediately makes you want to read the next one. If you like action comics, add Almighty #1 to your pull list.

An Unkindness of Ravens #1 is a book worth checking out. It's got some amazing colors courtesy of Fabiana Mascolo and the entire team working on this book is awesome. It has great pacing, decent dialogue, and is overall a solid read. You'll want to add it to your list during your next trip to the comic shop. 

Batman: One Dark Knight #2 brings us to the halfway mark as this is only a three-book series. It'll be fun to see how it all comes together and if Batman can get the power back on for the good citizens of Gotham. This issue has great pacing, plenty of action, and it's one you won't want to miss.

Creators Patrick Foreman, Brian Hawkins, and Marco Perugini serve up a healthy dose of real-world reality by creating an alternate world where the social order of black and white is switched.

Black Manta #1 is a great first entry into what's shaping up to be an awesome addition to the mythos of Black Manta. There are a lot of characters coming, both old and new, and I can't wait to see where this series is headed.

Blood-Stained Teeth #1 is a vampire tale about the price of immortality and the struggle to keep it. A fantastic journey into a new and unexplored vamp society with unique individual characters.

Chariot #1 gets the series off to a great start. Gunfire, hot pursuit chases, and a badass heroine's consciousness stuck inside of a highly advanced automobile -- what more could you ask for?

Creepshow Vol. 3 #3 feels like a late night horror flick you can't stop watching. It's another strong entry in the series. Creepshow doesn't just tap into nostalgia, it reinvents it, giving us horror that's as smart as it is sinister. Fans of both Creepshow and horror comics in general, this is for you.

Dark Ages #1 looks to re-shape the landscape of the Marvel Universe in a way that will change the dynamic of its characters forever.

Devil's Reign: Winter Soldier is a story that'll have you rooting for Bucky Barnes for sure. Whether he gets to celebrate, well, you'll have to read it to find out. Great job all around by the entire team that put this comic together in a way that has it serve as an awesome segue from the terrific main story.

Do a Powerbomb #2 keeps the momentum and excitement that made issue #1 great. The stakes are raised, and it has an ending that you have to see to believe.

Drive Like Hell #1 is a wild ride filled with crime and chaos, and you'll be hooked from start to finish.

Farmhand #11 is an incredible start to what promises to be a darker arc for the series.

Godzilla: Monsters & Protectors #1 is an inviting setup to what looks to be a great addition to the Godzilla legacy.

Harleen #1 is an interesting take on how Harleen Quinzel transformed into Harley Quinn.

Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: The Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour #6 brings things to a close with a bunch of crazy chaos that only Ivy and Harley can create.

Killmore #1 portrays a dystopian world where a crumbling economy leads to batsh*t levels of criminal activity.

Metal Society #1 combines the right amount of sci-fi drama and engaging storytelling to make it a series you'll want to read. The underlining discussion topics keep the material relatable and garner enough attention to keep readers coming back to check out the next issue.

This issue serves as the first verbal confrontation between Thunder Bearer and Jack Hammer, laying down the groundwork for what should be a ferocious encounter.

'Ordinary Gods' #1 is a groundbreaking start to a series that presents an out-of-this-world story about gods and the ultimate battle for power and control.

Origins #1 sets the stage for the battle to rebuild humanity. It's mysterious, fun, and the world-building feels like we haven't even scratched the surface of what's to come. It's a great sci-fi tale with a lot of potential.

Sonny is a believable character that leaves a lot left to the imagination to learn about. The pacing works, the art is rich and detailed, and the transitions are great. So do yourself a favor and pick up issue number #1 before it flies off shelves.

Although there's still a lot to learn moving forward about A Town Called Terror, the level of curiosity that the first issue sets matched with Kudranski's unique illustrations is more than enough for come back for the second issue. This is definitely a book to grab on your next trip to your local comic shop.

Bad Mother #5 shows the wrath of a mother with one determination: to get her child back. It's intense, it's bold, and it's something you owe to yourself to check out.

A great buildup to the bloodbath that is soon to come.

Black Terror has potential to be a great series, but this latest issue feels like a fill-in for more adventures yet to come.

Black Terror #3 was a fun read that pays homage to the history of sidekicks while telling a cool backstory for Black Terror's sidekick Tim.

Mark Turner's grave mistake of opening a coffin with unknown contents raises the stakes in Brynmore #2.

What starts as a night of passion soon turns into a regrettable journey of fear in Casual Fling #1 by Jason Starr and Dalibor Talajic.

Devil's Highway #5 is a must-read book for any fan of the crime thriller genre. The storytelling delivers jaw-dropping situations, some of which are based on true events.

E-Ratic #2 is a fun and enjoyable comic. The conceit of having Oliver's powers last only ten minutes is a nice and unique touch. There's something about it that makes it feel nostalgic, like on Knight Rider where Kit only did a turbo boost once per episode. If you haven't already picked up a copy of this book, snag it before it's too late.

E-Ratic #4 proves that Oliver still has a lot of work cut out for him as a hero. It's shaping up to be an amazing series that keeps you coming back for more, and it'll be interesting to see how the plot wraps up in the next issue.

Ghost Spider #4 is a great issue that shows what happens when things are going really well in a superhero's life and they let their guard down for even a second. Great visuals and a solid story.

Haha #2 is a tragic, question-filled journey that'll pull on your heartstrings. Funville, much like in the first book, plays a role during the story and also offers a cool Easter egg towards the end if you can spot it. Prince and the team easily have another winner with the second issue.

I Breathed a Body #3 cements yet another impressive entry into this jaw-dropping series. Zack Thompson and Andy MacDonald make a great team and I look forward to seeing where the next issue takes us.

I Can Sell You a Body #1 is a great new look at the paranormal.

Great power #1 is a refreshing take on the superhero genre, combining two of Earth's mightiest heroes who have more in common than they realize.

Hama always knows how to tell an enjoyable story, so I'm sure he's saving the best for last. As for Watcher's destructive and great illustrations, they speak for themselves. Do yourself a favor -- if you're not reading Heart of the Dragon already, go get it.

Kickass vs. Hit-Girl #1 is the start of a collision course of two of the most badass female heroines in comics today.

Mann's World #1 has a boatload of potential and is off to an interesting start. Victor Gischler and Niko Walter have a great dynamic together. The unpredictability of what happens next is enticing, and the book as a whole is a fun read.

Origins #2 creates a poetic journey filled with solid storytelling, painful hardships, and dark secrets.

Redemption #5 is violent in all the right ways.

Something is Killing the Children #2 is an effective setup issue that clearly details the direction the series is looking to carry the story this chapter. The creep factor is there, the pacing is on point, and we still have a lot to learn about the characters. Tynion and Dell'Edera are a great match and I can't wait to see what they have in store next for us. If you're a fan of horror comics, you should be reading this series.

'Space Bastards' is a rambunctious action-adventure that gives a whole new meaning to the term "package delivered."

Frank Miller and John Romita Jr. continue to create noteworthy stories that constantly remind you why Superman is such a noble and iconic character.

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #5, the final confrontation between Mikey and Oroku goes down -- and who walks away the victor might surprise you.

Time Before Time #1 is packed without a lot of memorable moments. The writing and art are solid all around. The book's climax will definitely have you on the edge of your seat. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a copy today.

Time Before Time #2 is easy to read, well-paced, and introduces a new group of characters to the story called The Union. The illustrations remain on point with a solid layout and transitions throughout.

Machine Gun Wizards #4 wraps the finale of a four-part mini-series that's sure to put your nostalgic gear in drive, especially if you're a fan of the old TV or movie adaptions of Eliot Ness and The Untouchables.

E-Ratic #3 is a good time, despite the main character not being in the first half of the book.

E-Ratic #5 has its problems, but it still works as an effective and enjoyable superhero series. The characters are fun. Oliver Leif is a good protagonist and I await his next journey into adolescence.

Marvel Action Origins #3 is another solid entry into the series that reveals the origin of both Venom and Hulk for a younger audience of readers.

Heart Attack #1 is interesting enough to give it a read. It touches on social injustice, prejudice, and romance all at the same time.

Scarenthood #1 stumbles a bit in terms of writing, but delivers a lot of fun in the illustrations.

The Death-Defying Devil #2 isn't as good as the first issue, but still manages to build up enough interest to make you want to continue reading the series.

The Savage Strength of Starstorm #1 tells the story of a kid who finds an alien artifact and becomes a superhero and I can't wait to read more.

Although The Scumbag #1 isn't a super strong first issue, it is entertaining enough to want to keep reading the series. The pacing is decent, the plot holds itself together for the most part and it leaves a lot to the imagination.

Overall, Transformers vs. The Terminator #3 provides enough interest to make me want to see how it all ends. The pacing, action sequences, and dialogue were really on point; I'm just hoping the series starts to explore more on the Terminator side and make them feel like a real threat to the Transformers.

Godzilla: Monsters & Protectors #2, despite feeling at times like it's going backward, pulls off a good entry in the nascent series.

As a big-time Kevin Smith fan, I was hoping for a lot more action sequences and punchy, humorous dialogue, but here they're both lacking. Still, it is He-Man, so like many readers, I'm here for the long haul to see where this is headed. Hopefully, the book picks up steam moving forward.
