Are you Joe Bennett?
Doom finds out about a mystical knife - he wants it.
Sister Sorrow has it and instead of taking it, he blabs on and on about what the knife is (giving the lady info she probably shouldn't have - way to go Vic).
Doom fails in getting the knife and Sis Sorrow gives it to the surprise villain (that everybody will see coming so it's not really a surprise) Mephisto.

An ancient artifact known as the SOUL FORGE has the power to collect all the souls on Earth! DOCTOR DOOM must stop it at all costs! Who is the mysterious SISTER SORROW, and what is her connection to DR. DOOM? Part One of SEVEN Villainous One-Shots!

Story one: Movie Night - Never been a Hickman fan, this story didn't change anything. Using Psycho Man's device to enter other worlds that are just films being watched by FF zombies - it's just a confusing mess. I rate it a 2.
Story two: Reed's Week - What starts out as an interesting plot, devolves into a tale that could have been told with a lot less than the 10 pages it takes. And more
The celebration of Marvel's First Family continues, with three all-new tales from Marvel's finest talents! Jonathan Hickman and Dustin Weaver reveal just what happens to the cosmic quartet when Friday the 13th rolls around. John Tyler Christopher spins a tale about Reed Richards receiving messages from himself in the future. And Mark Buckingham tel...
It all goes wrong by Page 2 – no flippin’ way does Spider-Man lead the heroes on an assault against Dormammu. He’s experienced enough to wait back and let the heavy hitters go at it (as he did in FF #242 against Galactus).
And why just DD, Avengers & X-Men? Where are all the other heroes not on those teams?
Anyway, from here, somehow Carol breaks Domammu’s jaw (he’s an more
Dormammu has come for Doom - and Doom has SURVIVED.
Broken, depleted, but having bought the time he needed, Doom ensured that all Earth's heroes would survive. These heroes now face a choice: They can allow Earth to fall to Dormammu - or they can align with Doom and fight for Earth beside him. Doom is at his highest - with Earth's heroes ...
This is the kind of book that makes you feel sick when you see the positive reviews it gets on the internet just to attract the attention of an uninformed person who would spend money on such crap. I see more and more the deconstruction they're doing to Hulk and the limitless attempt to bring Planet Hulk back.
The more I see the interior art, the more I ask for Joe Bennett's return. If more
JONATHAN HICKMAN, FEDERICO VICENTINI AND IBAN COELLO TAKE ON THE UNIVERSE!
A sweeping Marvel cosmic event! Imperial is a story of intrigue, mysteries and war, which takes place against the backdrop of the formation of new galactic order in the Marvel Universe. Featuring HULKS, BLACK PANTHERS, NOVAS, GUARDIANS and COSMIC KINGS and QUEENS. ...
I find it funny all the people who give 10's (not just for this issue). Just silly, people ranking 10's just because they can. No way is this book on par with DD: Born Again, Whatever Happened to the Man of Steel, Maus or books that really do deserve a 10. Funnier still are those that rate any score any where without comment imo.
@SadComics Your reviews make me sad. Everything you’ve rated on here you gave a 1/10 lol. Maybe you should try reading stuff you enjoy? @Amoebas Some people just rate on their subjective enjoyment of the book. Not every review is meant to be some objective assessment of the quality of the book. It’s not that serious. If everyone’s favourite comic book was Maus or Watchmen that would just be lame. Diversity in taste is a good thing.
This story starts out on a good note and the artwork is petty good. Back to Planet Hulk storyline..again. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, because I find it a cool concept. Though after the first few pages the story becomes convoluted and boring. When I find myself skimming over dialogue boxes because nothing is relevant I know my interest is waning. Sometimes I wonder if Hickman even knows more

What could have been a fun and wacky story crumbles apart when Ghost Rider kills with his penance stare. I get he's "vengeance' but Benjamin J Grimm, is standing right there! and has no problem with Blaze. Zero "justice" which is what Ben was trying to do before thsi murder happens right in front of him.
The subsequent scenes with Ghost Rider hitching a rocket ride, somehow finding more

Hickman has a way with words - a lot of them and that's good because this book took more than the 5 minutes most issues do nowadays.
But, I have to groan and roll my eyes at things such as She-Hulk ignoring a small alien being pummeled by a larger one, and worse yet, she watches Hulk murder someone and she doesn't blink an eye - so much for her being labeled "Lawbringer".

Lost in the time stream, the JL can't do anything, but the Legion of Doom sure can (poor Ralph).
The art isn't to the standard the book has had, but Waid's writing compensats for it. The Luthor twist was well done.
My only complaint with this storyline is that villains like the Joker, Cheetah, Captain Cold, etc haven't done much of anything and they could easily have been more

My ratings system... 1 is crap, 8 is fantastic, 9 is incredible and 10 is perfection (and is reserved for things like: DD Born Again, New Gods #7, Whatever Happened to the Man of Steel, etc.).
Another fine issue in both story and art.
Pranky is out of control and needs to be stopped, but who would dare?
If Mr X-Ray wasn't my favorite resident of Hyde Street before he is now.
Miss Goodbody has been fun too (unlike in the Devour special (not written by Johns)).
Johns is always great and it's nice to see Portela again - I've liked him ever since more
The manipulative Mr. X-Ray wants OUT of Hyde Street, pronto. The closer he gets to snatching 10,000 souls, the nearer his freedom. And he wants to up the count in a big way: by capturing an entire theater full of poor saps who have found their way onto Hyde Street. But will one good soul ruin it all?
For the second issue in a row, Sam single handedly takes on people much more powerful than himself and somehow survives because he has help from a talking city that flies.
This is just silly.
And how the Thinker and others never once referred to him as Falcon (to rile him up) was the writers mistake.
The art was decent enough though.
THE MASTERS OF EVIL RULE!
• The Impossible City, current home base of the Avengers, has been commandeered by the MASTERS OF EVIL!
• Who is left to defend the world while DOOM is in power?
• And how are the Avengers able to fight a war on multiple sides?
RATED T+
Somehow.
Last issue left off with Sue losing her powers and the FF ceasing to exist. This issue begins with Sue somehow rescuing the kids (not her husaband, brother or friends) into force field bubbles that somehow exist when Sue doesn't. Doesn't matter because the kids end up not existing anyway.
Somehow, Valeria is alive on Earth but she looks different and the FF are pow more
LAST ONE STANDING!

Boring, strangely paced and full of bad ideas. North can’t write. The art is not very attractive either.

We've read this story a thousand times. The ending in particular. North's retarded dialogue and clumsy pacing doesn't help, and neither does the mediocre art.
FANTASTIC TWO!
• As Ben recovers from what Doom has done to him, the Fantastic Four learn they're losing their powers at the one time they need them the most desperately!
• If they can't reverse the effect, they may be lost forever - and Doom will be unstoppable.
• But the family has an idea of how to get them back -...
I really don't know what to make of this comic. The Blue Bolt/Killerwatt origin story is appreciated, but how fricking stupid is this team? Deciding to pay BB's dad a visit after receiving Spider Woman's emergency call is just idiotic - or bad writing.
WILL THE REAL WONDER MAN PLEASE STAND UP?
• KILLERWATT is the first reformed* villain in a work-release program built by Tony Stark for his West Coast Avengers team, but he still needs some work to soften those rough edges.
• What better way to gain the public's trust than by taking on a revered Avengers legacy name like WONDER MA...
How to take one of the greatest cartoons of the 60's and make it work for today's audience?
This isn't quite it, but it's a valient effort.
Penelope is the star of this issue with the other racers barely getting a mention or cameo other than Peter Perfect in the wackiest role ever as a President who never campaigned and won by write-in votes.

An absolutely joyful comic, and of course with a creative team like that it looks amazing. It can be rough being a Supergirl fan sometimes, so a comic that leans into why she's fun is really a breath of fresh air!

The cancelled Power Girl to make way for this? Thank you DC.
Sophie Campbell should have been writing PG.
That said, I resally liked this issue. It's a nice set-up story and a terrific plot with this mystery Supergirl (which might lead into the soliciated Satan Girl story that's coming in a couple months - and if you don't know who Satan Girl, you might not be a long time more

It's a good story, well written. Things tie in with the overall arc DC is in currently and the characters sound like themselves (well L-Ron is goofier than I'd like but, it's L-Ron so whatever :) ).
The art is a negative from me however. It's good art but more suited for a YA book than the main DC Universe.

There's a reason why Geiger is Ghost Machine's (and maybe even Image's) fladgship title and this issue continues to prove it.
An epic fight between Tariq and Ashley, Nate and Barney versus the Army, Junkyard Joe about to lose himself and a 'President' who looks to be more of a menace than all of them combined.
Oh and a little nuclear armageddon being minutes away.

Ghost Machine’s radioactive renegade faces his most perilous challenge yet as he confronts the devastating chaos brewing in Lewistown, Montana. With his powers spiraling out of control, Tariq must fight to protect himself, his allies, and the innocent lives at stake. But salvation might only come with the unexpected aid of…The Glowing Woman.

1) There's no way Ted Grant is really dead - so funeral issues are meaningless in the end.
2) The 'traitor' arc is getting tired because it just doesn't move at a decent pace.
3) Having the JLA basically scold the JSA is just weird.
4) I like this new guy's (Rafael De Latorre) art.
5) I would have given this a higher score but Lemire called Powergirl "Paige".
The Justice Society and the rest of the hero community mourn the loss of one oftheir own. But as the dirt settles, the JSA needs to find a way forward to stop theInjustice Society’s plans, or the world is doomed!
This is a must read series. Yeah, it's basically just another zombie apocalypse (with cats) but every page, every panel, it's just just so damn good.
With this issue (and what's coming next) I'm hoping Elsie (finally) gets a chance to do something good.
Elsie, Lord, Gigi, and their makeshift pack find new allies as they make their way to the Pet City sanctuary. But can they trust these mysterious new cats? What are they after? What are they hiding? And what kind of cat has its own VICIOUS GUARD DOG!?
