Nerd Initiative - Matthew Roth Jun 18, 2025

Aliens Vs. Avengers wrap up in such a gross and satisfying way. The body horror fits the franchise themes of horror while our heroes manage to come out on top in the end meshing these two universes together in a way that will have fans of both satisfied and wanting more. Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke Jun 18, 2025

Aliens vs. Avengers #4 delivers jaw-dropping visuals and high-concept sci-fi horror with a suitably epic final confrontation, but its storytelling stumbles. The too-easy resolution keeps it from being a classic. It's a messy, ambitious ride that sticks the landing mostly. Read Full Review

My final thoughts of this mini series is: "This has to continue, this can't be the end". And this is kind of what you want after reading a series. I can't imagen not having this series in my PC.

    Some remarks:
    - They've took to much time between issues
    - This easily could've been an 15 issue series

    Plot
Mr. Sinister managed to carry out his plan. One of his clones was inoculated by a Facehugger, and from there a superior alien emerged, a sort of queen—red in color.

This queen is like the highest evolution of the xenomorphs, with Mr. Sinister's characteristic rhombus on her forehead. It turns out she's the deadliest alien. Her first step is to eliminate all the clones. Then she goes after the Avengers and X-Men. Her goal is to control the entire planet Mars.

Emma Frost, Manifold, Wolverine, Stark, Miles Morales, and Captain Marvel face this new insurgence of xenomorphs, and when they're about to lose, Black Panther and his son arrive with what remains of the galactic empire of Wakanda. But the plan mutates more

What a blast. As a huge fan of both franchises, this was so special to me. Hickman is one of my absolute favourite writers. He is on such a roll at the moment.

The door is open for a sequel, make it so.

Very good, but it could have used one or two more issues to fully develop the universe. You can feel that some plot threads and character arcs were rushed or cut short.
