Yes this is not perfect. But please, there isn't a single thing here that has ruined the Legion.

This was fun.
A tad confusing at times (do all this happened on this same Earth?) and had some little Bendis-esque dialogue in some parts (the very first line of dialogue made me roll my eyes a bit) but I really enjoyed the story, especially Batman Beyond and Kamandi parts, and the parade of different artists.
I'm curious to see where this goes nex

Brought to you by some of comics' greatest talents, this epic story spans the course of 1,000 years and, for the very first time, connects all of DC's future timelines! Not the most original idea of having a character live multiple lives (cough cough House of X), but interesting enough to keep me reading for Legion of Super Heroes. Art is great, unfortunately I wish Legion was being written by a better writer like Jeff Lemire or something. Obviously this is part of the overarching story Bendis is trying to tell with his Superman books, but I have no interest in more

Okay, here's what I thought. I expected this comic to reveal the Legion like everybody else because it says Legion of Super-Heroes: Millennium, unfortunately there's no sign of them. But then I realise the synopsis reads otherwise, I believe this is going to be a key issue that'd help make you understand the character, Rose and Thorn better for the stories to follow.
Having said that, I

Great first issue. Starting with the cover, those "Miami Vice" design is awesome. The story take place at the late 80s but it could work nowadays, it reminds me "Love" from Netflix with the addition of crime and investigation/detective.

It really should have been called... Rose & Thorn: Immortal or something. I get why they didn't go for that, it wouldn't have sold even 5k copies probably lol...
Unfortunately, what this 2 issue story has told us, is that Bendis thinks the name "Legion" will sell itself. A special overpriced 2 issue story that wastes too much time and art on other future stories. If I wasn't so sold on hoping for a good intro to the Legion of Superheroes, I wouldn't be coming back for the real issue #1.
