Much better than its counterpart where we're going in circles for no reason. This actually is moving things and building a story. Vicentini's art is really good here for the most part and I find myself going over the scenes details. Nice work!

I'm really enjoying the Moira-heavy focus in the 'Deaths" issues and this was probably the strongest issue in the series so far.

RIP Mystique, I guess. I thought this was enjoyable, but I really do feel like this is just Inferno being reiterated.

This issue did a good job of hooking me, and I'm starting to think Deaths can be a satisfying story on its own, even if it doesn't tie to Lives. It's a simple chase story told well. Not flawlessly, though. I'm warming up to the art; I really like the style. But the artist likes blocking panels in extreme close-up and doesn't give enough thought to how they connect to each other, thus the continued moments of confusion. On the script side, Moira's voice is a lot of fun and the pace is suitably speedy for a chase story. Except for the fishing boat scene; why was that so long? Why was it in there at all?

I'm glad to say that this was a bit of an improvement over the first issue. Despite it being labelled as a Wolverine book, which does technically feature Wolverine, this is an entertaining Moira-focused book with her on the run. Her basically exploding Mystique was crazy. I still don't know how I feel about Vicentini being the artist for this specific miniseries, but nothing from him was bad here at all. A super solid issue here all around.
