Once again this book is perfection. The entire creative team works so well together to craft a fun narrative with beautiful artwork. This is my favorited book right now hands down. I liked the into to fire star and how she didn’t like ultron because of what she did with Nemrod during fall of x it’s a tad confusing why there is 2 ultrons but I’m sure we will find out later good book overall

The characters remain well-written and the plot remains intriguing. However, the art occasionally feels jarring and detracts from the overall reading experience.

This book is not getting any better. I love the aerial fight with Jessica, and that's about it. The lightning boy gets on my nerves and I don't see why the WC Avengers has to be the new Thunderbolts. Giving villains a chance at redemption isn't really an Avengers moniker. The only way Ultron works if he becomes a villain and they learn their lesson about bad AI, but instead we get a second Ultron. That is a really bad idea. I also do not like Firestar's new costume. This comic is messy. I get that the team are supposed to be bad at working together, but giving such a massive introduction to Firestar, which served no purpose, and didn’t add to her flaking out, seemed a misjudgment when the Angelic Ultron was reduced to pretty much one page with risible and basic dialogue. On that point, the voices are indistinct, Spider-Woman and Blue Bolt both saying “you’re welcome” immediately after each other doesn’t help. Lord knows what the Spider-Woman “slapping” line was meant to achieve beyond a very weird visual image. If she’s pulling her punches, write that, keep it simple. Yet, having said that, this comic is aiming for something interesting. It just needs the author to get out of his ow n way. The Stevil joke wasn’t worth repeating twice. My major like this issue was the portrayal, beyond my carping above, of Spider-Woman. Finally, it feels like someone is writing her back to the standard of “Avengers Assemble” or “Secret Avengers”, and in one issue she’s been allowed to be stronger, and more capable, than she was in her last three runs. More of that please. more

Maybe I was blinded by nostalgia when I reviewed the first issue of this new West Coast Avengers book. This wasn’t fun.
