But Why Tho? - William Tucker

    Jan 08, 2025

Uncanny X-Men Issue 8 severs the former family even further. Both teams feature broken heroes that just cant be fixed. Its too early after the Fall of Krakoa, and the characters are hurting too badly to be glued back together. Read Full Review

Megan: 9.6/10. Uncanny X-Men is easily one of the best things to come out of From the Ashes, and I think Gail Simone has spoiled the readers time and time again with it. The fallout of those choices provide plenty of opportunity for exploration in different, exciting ways. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez

    Jan 08, 2025

Uncanny X-Men #8 ends the 4-part “Raid on Graymalkin” crossover with a tension-filled but ultimately unsatisfying conclusion. Gail Simone's script does a fine job of keeping everyone angry with each other, and Javier Garrn's artwork carries the weight of the issue by making angry conversations look interesting. However, the net result is a crossover whose main purpose is to create a flimsy excuse for the X-Teams to fight. If you skip it, you miss nothing. Read Full Review
