Predator vs. Spider-Man #3 relies mostly on its fast-paced, explosive action to carry the weight of a story that still feels thin on plot. The intense fight scenes provide the thrills fans are looking for, but the narrative hasn't quite hit the depth it needs. Hopefully, the final issue will bring all the threads together. With Benjamin Percy gearing up for Predator Kills the Marvel Universe later this year, there's also a chance the ending will lay the groundwork for that upcoming series. Read Full Review

Plot Peter and JJ Jameson are attacked by three Yautja who are after Skinner, a dishonorable hunter, and The Bugle has information on his whereabouts thanks to Peter's investigation. This entire sequence continues with the New York City blackout, which Kraven himself continues to help continue, because he prefers to hunt in the dark, and that way he doesn't attract the attention of the Avengers or X-Men. Spider-Man confronts the Yautja while Jameson escapes from the building and runs into Detective Lapearl, who witnesses the building explode and a huge web-like sac fall, with a Predator inside ready to attack. MJ and a girl are led by a homeless man to a hiding place because Skinner is about to arrive. He throws them into a pool full of rats, where they are completely covered by these rodents. This camouflages them with the surroundings, so the Predator can't see them with his infrared vision, but the homeless man isn't spared. It's a disgusting sequence. The penultimate chapter is shocking, ultra violent, and hypnotizingly suspenseful, where the number of Predators increases and Spider-Man has no one to help him. Art It's detailed, heavily influenced by 1990s comics, where the body language is highly stylized and shadows are used to emphasize the dynamism and a gloomy tone perfect for this comic full of suspense and terror. Summary Spider-Man now faces three Predators while Skinner continues to skin more victims, and New York is in chaos with the blackout. Excellent new installment that is undoubtedly the most violent story in the entire narrative history of this character. more

I'm not sure what is going on with the art with the panel where the Glaives are being thrown at Spider-man. It looks like his back is sliced in half. Other than that the art is prtty dynamic. I like Kraven making sure the power is off for "his' hunt. The idea of a rogue Predator is interesting. I just don't know how they are going to wrap things up in ionly one issue.
