Nov 17, 2021Moon Knight #5 culminates in a test for Marc Spector from a villain, but also from himself. It's a self-reflective issue that delves deeper into who the character is and why he's a violent hero. It's a rarity to see a superhero be so open about themselves while having it all make so much sense. Read Full Review

Nov 17, 2021Moon Knight #5 is everything I want from this series. It explores the character's mental state, his upbringing, and how it's all impacted him. It also delivers a lot of action finally delivering the reveal of the “big bad” we've been waiting for. It's a hell of an issue that feels like it really pays off for those who've been waiting. However, the villain may be too deep a cut to elicit the “wow” moment the creators were looking for. Read Full Review

Nov 21, 2021Moon Knight #5 continues to impress with its moody atmosphere and strong character rebuilding of Marc Spectre. There is a great examination of why Marc does the things he does while also reflecting on the cost of his actions. This does not mean there isn't any action of course. The cliffhanger ending of the villain revealed sets up what I'm sure will be an interesting next issue. Read Full Review
