It looks like war is coming as we see the immediate fallout from the death of Jor-El at the hands of Green Arrow. Two kingdoms will suffer a death in the family by the end of this issue. This issue caused my interest in the story to wane a little bit, but we'll see if that continues to be case or if Tom can rally.

I won't say there's anything groundbreaking in them, certainly not in this issue, but they are lighter, more standard comic fare. Jeez, I get it if people don't like the comic for what it is, but to attack people who can relate to the character is a little too far in my opinion

Despite the long distance between these issues coming out, this series is still making me want to come back for more. I wasn't sure how, or if, James Stokoe could outdo the confrontation with the First Beast, but he definitely did it.
