• You know the Forgotten One by many names. Hero, Gilgamesh...
•  Eternals know him by many more. Often less complimentary.
•  They include Killer.
•  But did he kill Zuras?
•  Well, failing that, it certainly looks like he's having a shot at killing Ikaris, right?

You Don't Read Comics - David Harth

    Jun 30, 2021

Eternals #5 is another triumph for this book. Gillen expands on the lore of the Eternals, introducing a new faction and using infographic pages to drop even more secrets and info on readers than before. Ribic's art is outstanding throughout, really capturing the emotion and power of Gillen's script. This issue sets up a lot of great stuff, and it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. Pacing, and the delay between issues hurt this book, but not enough to lose interest in it. Read Full Review

    The Comicbook Dispatch - ozwoods

Eternals #5 finally brings some major development to the Eternals' murder mystery and the Great Machine's malfunction. However, the reveals may not be the most impactful once readers find out who's responsible. But now it feels like the series is getting back on track and things are heating up for the better. Hopefully the next issue adds more to the story and keeps up the momentum it started in this issue. Read Full Review
