Eternals #6 starts with a hard-hitting fight like only the team of Gillen, Ribic, and Wilson could deliver and then gets heavy. Its a wonderful twist, and it changes the Eternals forever. Itll be interesting to see where the team takes the book from here, but it will be uncharted territory, and thats exciting. Read Full Review

Eternals #6 concludes the story of the Eternals' return and provides some explanation for why everything transpired as it did. The fighting with Thanos is cool, and Esad Ribi's art and Matthew Wilson's colors look good, too. However, the bigger issue is the huge retcon that Kieron Gillen introduces in this issue that impacts all of the Eternals, not just the main cast. But casual readers might not mind it as the series has made plenty of similar changes to the Eternals in past issues. So we'll see if the changes actually matter. Read Full Review

Probably the best way to end this arc; by showing how the actions of the Eternals actually factors into the lives of mortals. And how the influence of these godlings continue on because of systemic problems of their own. The vast majority either don't care what this means for others or they keep their heads down because they'd rather not know. By all accounts Thanos actually fits well into the Eternals' paradigm in a twisted sense. Because Thanos is doomed to be at war with himself as much as the more heroic Eternals are willing to go to war with their superiors.

A great ending to the first arc. It really all worked in the end, I was surprised. I think the issue went on maybe a bit too long, however.

A d we have the ending of our first arc, with a dastardly reveal about our heros and how exactly, "Eternal", they are. This means big things for the team and how they will operate moving forward. And with Thanos now back, this revelation could not have come at a worse time. This series continues to gave brilliant writing, character work and absolutely astounding art. Esad Ribic is in a class all his own, few artists caoture the same essence or feel he does in the modern age.

Terrific way to end this arc. I was hooked from start to finish. I am super into the Thanos storyline and the connections around the Eternals. There's a lot of room for progress but we got a significant end to this initial story. I adored the path taken it's heavy, complex, messy, emotional and action-packed. Best thing Marvel is doing right now. What could I want more?

The Eternals fix their machine and save the world, but failings and revelations turn the victory to ash. Thanos escapes them. The big revelation is a perfectly-timed shocker, and the way the arc-plot ends is great. The art is nigh perfect; the prose could be a little sharper. But if this comic's storytelling isn't quite perfect, the end result is definitely great. This is a very powerful read.

I thought this was supposed to be a limited series but I guess now it's ongoing? Anyhow, I like the writing, I liked the twist and the world-building. But I guess there's just something missing, I can't quite put my finger on it. Humor needs some work too and Ribic's art was better in Secret Wars but all in all this is an entertaining comic and I'm curious what direction it will take with Thanos.
