Comic Watch - B. Radtz
Apr 22, 2021This book, while very decompressed and slow, is a beautiful comic dedicated to introducing some very obscure, yet rich with potential characters to the general buying public. Id suggest waiting for the first trade if you arent already familiar with these characters, but I wouldnt deprive myself of breathing in Gillens exquisite monthly tale, either. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - David Harth
Apr 21, 2021Eternals #4 seemingly puts an end to the mystery of who betrayed the Eternals to Thanos, but theres still so much more left to discover. This is Gillens writing styles greatest strength- he finds ways to answer the mysteries in his books that open up to more mysteries. Ribic turns in some of his best art of the series so far, and the more he gets to draw Thanos, the better. All in all, this is another top-notch issue of Eternals. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Aaron Phillips
Apr 21, 2021Overall, this was a solid issue. A specific highlight was watching as Thena, Kingo, and Druig all play mental chess with each other as to ascertain who is the mastermind behind Thanos' killing spree and why. At the same time, you have Gillen overseeing this as the puppet master trying to lead us down the rabbit hole as we follow this twisted tale. The ending was a lovely touch as well. Things are certainly gearing up now, and my level of intrigue has been dialed up to 11. Read Full Review

Apr 21, 2021Eternals #4 finally moves the plot forward, and the murder mystery picks up a little steam. There is some weird characterization of Sersi, but the focus is mainly on Druig and Kingo this issue, especially the former. It's not bad but it's not great either. The comic finally delivers some desired action from a certain Marvel villain, but it's very brief. Read Full Review
