Dec 18, 2019All in all a fantastic issue. I love the polar opposites of growth that are shown in Matt and Fisk. Matt makes an ascension on his personal grown while Fisk just hits rock bottom...hard. The drama continues to unfold as we make our way through Hell. Read Full Review

Dec 18, 2019Chip Zdarsky is giving readers a great Daredevil book, but an even better Kingpin one if you ask me. The character work in this series is outstanding and it's the main reason I keep gushing about it. That is still the case here as we see Matt rising again just as Fisk is falling. The art and story are so good that I can easily recommend this to anyone with even a minor interest in the character. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez
Dec 23, 2019Daredevil #15 was yet another fantastic issue in what is Marvel's best ongoing series. Chip Zdarsky does a phenomenal job weaving together Daredevil, Elektra and Wilson Fisk's story together. While these characters are being tied together there are distinct character arcs that Zdarsky is giving them so they all have an ownership in what is going on. Zdarsky's storytelling is further elevated by the strong artwork that Marco Checchetto and Francesco Mobili provide the entire comic book. Read Full Review

Dec 18, 2019The two narratives slowly build together and deliver an excellent pair of fight sequences at the end. While the artwork and aesthetic may lack the clear identity of prior Daredevil runs, the ideas are as strong as they've ever been in this series' storied history. Read Full Review

Prelude: Daredevil has been consistently knocking it out of the park. Let's see how Zdarsky does with this issue. The Good: Wow, a comic actually made me sympathetic for Wilson Fisk. That's a first. I love Matt and Elektra's dynamic in this issue. Matt is back to prowess and in style too. The story is tying together. Checchetto and Mobili's art was great in this issue. The Bad: Nothing. Conclusion: Another great issue from Zdarsky and the team. Everything is coming together and the characters are done flawlessly.

-Wilson's face when the goons walk in to fight him is full of emotion -This parallel story of kingpin/mayor fisk and Matt/Daredevil going through their lives with old and new identities clashing is amazing -The writing lives cohesively with the panels, i love when matt or kingpin says something and it applies to the current scene in the other's story -Matt really is a simp for these NY girls, respecting the game tho

This comic is a rollercoaster! What an amazing issue. Kingpin and Murdock are in opposite situations, but will it last? I love Zdarsky's writing!

Daredevil and Elektra carve a key piece of the puzzle out of the governor while Fisk faces a reckoning from the Stromwyns. It's an elegant, action-heavy dose of plot progression and that makes it a lot of fun to read. But it mostly sets aside this title's unique strength -- morally-ambiguous characterization -- in favor of a more black-and-white morality. (It's fascinating that Fisk falls on the side of the angels when this issue draws its lines.) I have full confidence that subsequent issues will circle back and muddy up these latest developments in a thought-provoking way.

Another great issue all round. I think Kingpin's story was more gripping in this issue than Matt's but both threads are clearly leading towards an intriguing denouement.

Another great addition to daredevil. Really love hoe the story progresses and risk is a big part of it all.

I have to admit that Matt standing their with the pouches on proud display is funny. But as for the plot, it's good, I'm actually starting to root for Wilson Fisk.

Mobili's art was pretty good, though the geography of the action needs more wirk It's nice to criticize the action for a different reason i guess. The whole "the Stromwyn own the media" was so cartoony it took me out of the story. The rest was good.

I've been a huge fan of Chip's run, but this issue...I dunno. Matt's whole retirement from DD is predicated on not causing more death, so he breaks into the governor's home with... Elektra? Elektra? Seriously? A ninja assassin who immediately sticks an enormous sword at the governor's throat? What could go wrong? Aside from the fact that breaking into the governor's home, for whatever reason, is so totally wrong and illegal. This is how DD is "back?" Plus, now that he has this information, what's he supposed to do with it? "Mr. Murdoch, what's your proof the governor is owned by a crime family?" "Uh, I broke into his house and he told me." Other points: Since when is Elektra so "nice" - being interested in seeing justice done, as opposed to being a work-for-hire? She sounds more like Catwoman than herself. And the governor's confession - sounds like '70's Denny O'Neill - way too "on the nose" and easily extracted. Still a fan, but after so much soul-searching, Matt's gotta come up with a better redemption than this... more

Kalaoui - Dec 24, 2019It's one of the best ongoings right now! I'm glad you're enjoying too! Can't wait for bullseye too but was it confirmed because I only saw Tedesco's cover with the target on Matt's back and assumed bullseye too.
MarvelGuy - Dec 24, 2019I think so if I'm not mistaken I mean it makes sense that he appears at some point considering he's another arch nemesis of Daredevil other than Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin
