Chip Zdarsky is killing it on this bookI just hope everyone survives! This issue is full of tension and over the top action and its all wrapped up in a smart and gripping story. The book had a delightfully old school vibe. There are panels that feel like they're from the 70's Bill Everett era and others that could've came from Frank Miller. I especially liked the panels with a blood red background and the scenes in the holding cell with a black background and red bars that look like Daredevil's billy club. Daredevil #10 was a phenomenal issue. Chip Zdarsky continues to do a fantastic job exploring Matt Murdock's life without being Daredevil in a fascinating way. That has not been an easy thing for Matt to do which leads into an intriguing set-up for the role Elektra can serve in Zdarsky's greater narrative for this series. Daredevil #10 wraps up the "No Devils, Only God" storyline. Zdarsky has opened up some new and very interesting plot points that have kept me engaged. I like where this issue leaves off for both Matt Murdock and Detective Cole North. The art is definitely a step up from what it has been; while not exactly a "perfect fit" for the story, I still enjoyed the visuals throughout the issue. Awesome, Zdarsky delivers with the end of this arc once again. This series isn't about Daredevil, it's about Matt and that's great. Feels so much like an indie series than a superhero series which is what the best superhero comics are. The art is also good, it reminded me a lot of Michael Lark, but I can't wait for chechetto to come back. I also like the new characters Zdarsky sets up, especially detective north, looks like he might be a new vigilante-esque character

The Good: First of all the art is superb. Fornes showcases how well he can elevate what is already a great story into an excellent one. A style that reminds me of Aja yet has this Batman: Year One feel to it. Really works for Daredevil. I'm also loving this current direction. Matt being Daredevil whilst not being Daredevil, choosing to step in when required but also using his more Catholic version of his costume. Excellent showcase of his powers and hearing as well as the showdown. Everything ties itself together for the final issue of this arc and sets up for the next one in great fashion. The Bad: I'm struggling to find something bad here. Conclusion: Zdarsky is really creating a Daredevil run for the ages. Another phenomen al chapter in what is shaping up as a run I'll recommend in a heartbeat more

-Great art this issue, i love the red and black radar scenes -Matt questioning the endgame of being with mindy adds more depth -Matt giving joe to foggy is a sign that matt cant make up for his sins cleanly while his alter ego festers -DD wanting Cole to frame the attack on the officers on him sets up for a great story as he is a mythical figure to hell's kitchen at the moment

I'm enjoying this more graphic art style. The lettering is great too. This issue feels very Daredevil: capturing exciting moments contrasted with quiet, contemplative ones. Well done.

When Detective North faces a showdown with his corrupt coworkers, Matt is perfectly placed to rescue him. That leads to an immensely satisfying fight scene, but even more impressive than the action are the consequences it will obviously have for both characters. This issue contains less prose than usual for this title, but it still counts as stunningly well-written. The art is terrific, too - Jorge Fornés effortlessly picks up the tone of the series and would make a fine full-time artist for this sort of comic.

A superb issue that I just didn't want to put down. Fornes's art kept the scenes moving while Bellaire's always-excellent colours created moods and ambience, especially the alternating and juxtaposed blacks, reds, and white when the suspense ratcheted up. Zdarsky has a very clear idea about what he wants to do with the character and is yet to hit a bum note.
