All-New Venom #3 combines character-driven moments and wild new symbiote abilities to great effect, though a limited setting and slower pace hold it back from fully hitting its stride. At the end of the day this issue offers jaw-dropping symbiote action and character twists that will have fans buzzing about the identity of Venom all month long. Read Full Review

Not hard to figure out who the host is at this point. Especially since they totally ditched the Trio and we know it's not Masque. Very parental tone. I like the misdirection used.

Well it was a bit better than last issue. Actually had some decent parts. Still a little corny and still just doesn't feel super compelling, but the Dylan part made it ok.

The mystery is keeping me interested enough to keep buying but it's kind of annoying how they taunt you with it every issue. Dylan's story is the highlight but them trying to use it to make you feel bad for Paul taints it. I really feel like once the reveal is made everyone will drop this book. And I think marvel knows it too.....

My issue with this series is how much of a gimmick it is, which usually works amazingly in Ewing's work, especially notes of mystery, but I find his love for the many characters of the Marvel Universe is making this series more convoluted than charming. It's just not a very engaging concept, or execution, but it's by no means the worst comics I've read. I'd just hope for more from the New face of Venom
