Justice League #46 once again shows that Robert Venditti is doing a fantastic job as writer. Xermanico and Robson Rocha also did a superb job with the art. I wish he was staying around for the long haul, but I look forward to seeing what he has in store for his final issue. Read Full Review

It's still a little disappointing that Venditti isn't staying on Justice League long term. He's come up with some unique scenarios for the team to face in a short time and it would have been interesting to see where he would have taken stories featuring challenges from Batman, Green Lantern and The Flash's pockets of the DCU. All in all, Justice League #46 delivered in giving us an understanding of just how bad things can get in a world where The Spectre is without his host. That is a world that you want to save from itself before there is nothing left to save. Read Full Review

This issue is the common mid-arc issue it was very fast paced and straightforward with plenty of action shots which Xermanico and Robson Rocha illustrate superbly! I hope to see them on this book more. Venditti continues to build a nice premise here with some entertaining moments threw in keeping the book very engaging for the reader. Read Full Review

Justice League #46 did what it needed to do to progress "Cold War" to the second half of its story. Robert Venditti kept the sense of urgency high as the Justice League continued to be haunted by a Spectre without a host as it turned the Amazons against them. Though the focus being kept 100% on the Justice League limits the scope of this story as we don't get a sense of how dangerous Spectre lacking a host is to the DC Universe. Hopefully with the developments in Justice League #46 we get into how this is a major crisis within the DCU. Read Full Review

This issue of Justice League will be over before you know it. An action-packed comic that is a very quick and easy read. It does not get into The Spectre as much as previous titles, as instead, it focuses on a battle between The League and Amazonians. A fun read, but a slight read. Read Full Review

Even with charging the shores of Themyscira and entering the underworld of Tartarus, this issue doesn't excite as much as it should, but like usual, the cliffhanger is enough to keep me interested in what's to come.  The art was great this issue, but I would have liked a little more of....... well, about everything when it comes to the story because it just feels like we're hitting the same beats with each issue. When this is all taken into consideration, I start to wonder if Venditti's work is going to come home in his final arc. While this arc is certainly fine on its own, will he bring something substantial to the table in his final issues? Or is he content to stick with his other books, leaving Justice League with a pleasant, if anticlimactic, conclusion? Time will tell; but I'd still suggest this arc if you have a moment (and expendable income). Read Full Review

This was a great issue to see, especially with GL battling the entire army and the rest of the League dealing with the cavern and Spectre.

Why didn’t Green Lantern just gather the team up and fly to the gate? Feels like they let themselves get surrounded for pretty much no reason.

This is a mediocre comic, alright, that's not what's at issue here. What is at issue is "Justice League Advance!". Is this an actual rallying call for the Justice League or did Venditti make it up for this very specific scenario? Do the Justice League have a rallying call? Is it as bad as the Titans one? How about "Justice League Defuse" or "Justice League Jump"? I could keep going.
