The Justice League may not be close to winning anything yet, but they are ready to go down swinging.  Yep, our heroes are ready to play the spoiler role and they are throwing everything at Lex to keep him from winning the cup.  Francis Manapul and Howard Porter share art duties and they both do a really good job and by the end of the issue, I wanted more, more, more.  That is a recommendation right there. I actually really loved this issue. As has been my complaint of numerous issues of this run the page count puts the art at a deficit. The scene where the heroes assembled looked so tiny with just a lot of outlines. If it had a page (or dare I say two) to breathe, the art would have been phenomenal. Read Full Review

Prelude: While the Justice/Doom War started off tremendously, it has faltered recently. Let's see how Snyder, Tynion and Manapul go with this issue. The Good: I like Lex's conflict within himself and Martian Manhunter coming into assist. The Trinity have always been great with their speeches and this one is no exception. Manapul and Porter's art is great. I actually didn't notice when the art changed. This battle just got turned up to 11 at the end. The Bad: Perpetua, for all her power still isn't compelling or interesting to read. Conclusion: A return to form for the Justice/Doom War. I'm loving the character work here and it's pure comic book vibe. However, Perpetua is completely ineffective in every possible way as the villain here. more

Liked it! The story continues to escalate towards an exciting finale. I kind of wish the art was better though, I have no problem with Francis Manapul, but Jorge Jimenez is my preferred Justice League artist on this run. I hope this ends in a great way

"Which God are we praying to?" Good issue. It nicely sets the stage for the final showdown. Which I can't wait for. I am so tired of this big, universe-ending space stuff. Metal was good, felt fresh. No Justice was rushed and uneven. The Totality was boring and uninteresting. Sixth Dimension was fun, it certainly looked phenomenal. And now this. It is fun, for sure, but can we have Justice League save Earth from some meteor or natural disaster or manage some space war, without new powers or cosmic beings popping out all over the place and threat the Multiverse?
