Catwoman has another champion. Black Label is the perfect venue for this book! Lonely City should be anything but that as you need this on your shelf. The flashbacks and homages to costumes and eras gone by are so worth the price of admission. So many Batman books, but you really should start a Catwoman shelf. Great job Cliff Chiang! It's a funnier story than the first issue, but that in no way takes away from the heartfelt character moments that make everything feel so meaningful. Pencil/Ink: Great Writing: Outstanding Story: Better than Good Layout: Good Color: Good Lettering: Good I feel this story is building up to something big. Whether it does or not the character treatments alone are worth the read. Love seeing all the villains as their more mature selves and finding out where they've ended up.

I liked this issue. My favorite moment was the flashback with Batman and Catwoman. I also really like Ivy's characterization at the end.

This book took a major u-turn with this issue and not for the best. First issue was good and seemed interested in telling a good story. Here we just get big doses of weird lefty ideas and I can't say I enjoyed that. Plus I just burst in laughter when I saw how Ivy looks here. She's fat because lefties think being fat equals "eMpOwErMeNt" but she just looks ridiculous, especially because being a femme fatale was always a major part of her character. Kinda hard being a sexy femme fatale when you look like you're stuffing your mouth with fast food 4 times a day. There still are some decent ideas but the quality took a serious blow here, especially during the second half of the issue which was horrible and I am starting to worry about what kind of book this will turn out to be. more

Stopped midway and will not be picking up future issues. Beautifully illustrated, horribly written. Comics are a two-way street.
