Batman: The Long Halloween: The Last Halloween #8
A NEW ISSUE WITH ART BY BECKY CLOONAN! Batman follows Holiday's trail into the ruins of the Falcone family estate, where he comes face-to-face with an old foe!
I've been a Brubaker fan for a long time. I've spent hundreds of dollars on his comics. But even though I appreciate his decision to branch out with more experimental stuff in recent years, none of it resonated with me.
This new Criminal installment isn't just a return to form - it's one of the best stories he's ever written. As I get a little older, I hold back on rereading a lot of hi

Case 03: PareidoliaBatman. Three criminals. One gun. One wound. One life. The heart-wrenching finaleof "Pareidolia" is here. Don't miss it.
Well, this was an intriguing read. I can't say this is a story that I'll look forward to rereading again. At least not anytime too soon. This was definitely a gross ugly story. Yes it's subverted expectations and certainly caught me off guard. But again it was extremely gross and extremely nasty.
I know that crime stories can usually get pretty hard hitting but...

Excellent, it's excellent.
There's real care taken with the story. Everything is weighed, placed and sequenced to perfection. For the first time since the Titans book came back, I was thrilled. Gone is the feeling of a clumsy Titans reunion (I didn't really like the story with Neron), finally something concrete. Tom Taylor has stepped up a gear. The pieces of the story fall into place one by

REVIEW
The first thing that stands out in Gargoyle of Gotham #1 is Rafael Grampá's unique style of dark and twisted illustrations. From the opening panel to the closing "to be continued" box, the visual tone of this book is unabashedly Grampá. As a Dark Knight story about a serial killer, the art is gratuitous and Grampá doesn't hold back with plenty of blood spilled. On one page, B
