C.O.R.T.: Children of the Round Table #2 continues the fun ride for kids and adults alike, and I'm looking forward to checking out the next issue to see more of the story.

A fun opening issue that looks to make for one of the more unique and entertaining inter-company crossovers that we've had in some time.

Despite having all the elements of what makes this series fun, a big narrative disconnect between last issue's cliffhanger and this issue detracts from the story.

While not quite as "new reader entry I was hoping it would be, there's still plenty in Harley Quinn #54 to appeal to new and lapsed readers alike.

While it may end up working better in a trade collection (and survive the wear and tear of rereading from kids), C.O.R.T. looks to be a great way for adults to introduce a younger generation into the world of comics.

While I could have used more revelations on why the Birds are going after Daemon's latest plan, the character moments are so well done, and the issue is such a great encapsulation of everything the series does well as a team book, that I still have to recommend Birds of Prey #25 as a jumping on point for new readers.

While not entirely as new-reader friendly as the creatives intend it to be, Resident Alien: The Book of Changes #1 is a fun look at the comic adventures of Harry.

The Birds have won the battle, but not the war, yet Birds of Prey #24 is another fun issue for one of DC's most consistently great books.
