Great arc, though this last chapter felt a little rushed but overall satisfying. Shame the art dipped throughout the run.

Corporate cringe

A comic fan's comic. No nonsense, action packed, the start of a great run?

Not 'bad' - but not good. Certainly doesn't get me fired up for the event to come. Just setting the scene I suppose. Great art in some issues though, Hal/Aquaboy in particular. Let's see how this all unfolds..

Great first issue. I didn't have high hopes but it was very interesting. Much better than most of the drivel lately.

Shadows of the bat started off strong but for a few issues it has become clear what is going on and it's no longer very interesting.

Art is amazing but the plot to this book feels jarringly cheesy. And the scripting feels like something from the 90s.

Worth reading I suppose. I liked the lineup of characters. The existential threats to the DC multiverse are getting somewhat tiresome, darkseid is a little boring.

Titular batman has been naff for ages now. This arc was very lame. The double cross and reveal. Nothing really transpired. Points for art

Why have the teen lantern (who needs to go) speak Spanish? Just translate it, like every other comic book. It's jarring and interrupts the flow of the comic. Great if you can speak Spanish...

Amazing art, Jimenez is at his peak. It did however feel more like I was reading that Cyberpunk comic, not a Batman comic. Tremendous in that three issues in to this arc and still basically nothing has happened. The mayor's police squad has it's first recruit and Batman got a tour of the unsanity collective's secret base. Snoooooze.

The anime art style kind of works. I'm only really reading on to find out what the 'secret' is. Bit cheesy and hollow so far. Lots of talks of high stakes but starting to get bored.

Feels like someone is setting up for big changes with Superman. Eager to find out what...

Interested to see where this goes, but it feels predictable. Extra points for good art and inclusion of other batfam characters. If I had to take a guess, Damian will overcome impossible odds and win the tournament?

I'm not widely read on Batman but really enjoyed this issue. Art is great... Maybe i'm just enjoying taking a break from high-stakes issues but quite enjoy the breathing room in this issue.

Epic title. This is one of the most interesting threads to come out of Krakoa. I think if you are at all interested in philosophy or religion this will be a must read. Backed up by good art.

A sign of great things to come? Stranger things meets Death Stranding... Interesting concept and amazing art to boot!

Surprisingly enthralling! Curious to see how they will wrap this one up in issues 4 and 5. Sometimes the best ones are short and sweet.

The art is totally fitting for the story. I love the concept and direction. Lots of world building in this issue. Loads of potential.

Get bendis out of DC

Great title until this latest arc. Hopefully gets back on track but I dont honestly think I can read another whilst this artist's name is on the cover. Mashed up distorted faces, lips looking like the joker. I honestly have seen amateur artists magnitudes of order higher quality than this art. Sorry to ramble but it makes the whole issue offensive to the eyes. Makes liefield's work looks phenomenal. How is this person even employed?
