One of the most fun and entertaining books I've read in forever. The art is flawless, the writing next to flawless (I just feel like Constantine has lost his Brit accent in the transit), and it feels so right to get to see John again.

Impressive start to an exciting new chapter for a team that has felt tired to me. I can't wait to see where DC and the creative team is going to take this title.

The art is beautiful, the story, though quite obscure for the moment, is exciting enough to make you come back for another round... This is absolutely thrilling.

This is such a fun issue to read. The art is on point and the story balances perfectly mystery, action and cheer fun. What is even more incredible is how the two Kellys made me feel like I was one of the Carol Corps. More than a special event, this feels like an hommage both to Carol and to her fans. Highly recommended to anyone one out there who ever loved Carol.

Gore, violent, heart-breaking, heart-warming, dangerous... and hilarious at times. A great Simone project.

What makes this issue so strong is how the story has slightly shifted from DC's Holy Trinity (Batman, Superman and Wonder-Woman) to other "minor characters", such as Black Canary.

Harley Quinn still is the funniest character in any comics ("I'm the first wave"), and this issue is packed with surprises. Highly enjoyed it.

Heart-warming and touching, this is the story of "one of us" who becomes "one of them".

Great story (if not a bit slow), great characters, great potential, I cannot wait to see where this goes. Ms Marvel will no doubt grow to be one of the best comic books out there if the amazing team behind it keep up the good work.

Yet another incredible issue in this ridiculously awesome title. Simone does an amazing job at mixing the most complex and dark stories with hints of superficiality and humour (read Batgirl for more of the same), and Nicola Scott's art is impeccable.

This is a very good transition as far as transitions go. The cover is sublime. (I seriously miss Nicola Scott though)

A Catman-centered issue? I can only approve, seeing as this version of him is becoming one of my favourite DC characters, ever.

This arc was probably the best thing Simone has ever written. It was intensed, deranged and captivated.

Though it's a stand-alone issue, it was highly entertaining, and The Weird is funnier than he's ever been.

This is by far my least favourite arc of the title, yet I find myself enjoying most of it. Bane riding a dinosaur and Blake riding a giant cat are definitely a plus. I just find the pacing a little bit off.

Too much talking for me in this issue.

The art is impeccable and Carol is such a likeable character.

I'm getting a little bit tired of those tricks allowing Superman to survive just about everything.

I am very disappointed by the art in this issue, not to mention the hideous cover. The story seems to have difficulties recovering from last week's showdown.

This was an incredible issue, perfect in every way.

I did not quite enjoy this issue. The Ventriloquist is quite annoying and the story never grabbed me, so I am not super excited it goes on into next issue...

The writing and the colouring are as good as they ever were. The drawing, however, has been a big disappointment to me lately. I hope they change the artist soon because, let's face it, this is not very good.

There was not a moment when I did not enjoy the story. I only wish we were allowed a #2 issue of this.

Batgirl: most-improved. It was a hard task, taking over Babs's story after Gail Simone who, whether you like her or not, knew the character inside and out. Divorcing from the darker (if not frankly grim) stories of the Simone-era, the title had to find a voice, an identity, and it was far from convincing at first, but the last few issues have managed to established a balanced, individual tone to Batgirl's new stories. The art is still superb, and the writers have managed to move away from the sometimes stupid and superficial voice of the first issues to offer something truely exciting, balancing light-hearted moments with high-stakes episodes. Truely a gem.

Well done and entertaining.

Kori never appealed to me, except maybe in the Teen Titans, so I'm surprised I enjoyed this issue so much. Conner and Palmiotti's writing certainly helped, it has the same vibe as their other hit, Harley Quinn. It's definitely worth reading, if only for Kori wanting to buy some sarcasm. I loved the art, but my only real critique would be that the book could use a little less dialogue, it feels quite crowded at times.

It was an original way to kick off this new series, though it fail to capture my attention. Good thing I love Harley Quinn and can't imagine not reading the rest.

I thoroughly enjoyed the second half of the book, even though I would really appreciate it if they stopped writing Harley as such a childish character.

As a newcomer to Secret Wars, this did very little for me to catch up, as all the background info displayed here is available just about everywhere on the internet. It was an OK read, not memorable, not particularly useful either.

A much better issue than the first one.

The second year of Earth 2 was a let down, and so were the Convergence or Futures End versions, but Earth 2 Society looks far more promising. The art is impressive.

The art is excellent, and so is the writing. It's nice to see Kara merely landing on the Earth, and discovering the planet. It just feels odd that she would reveal all her powers while it took Clark all his life to get his. All in all, it's a great issue.

Not my favourite issue thus far, the art is inconsistent and the many fighting scenes takes the story nowhere.

This issue is next to flawless. The story is well executed and the art is fantastic. I particularly enjoy how each issue has a very clear beginning and end, without being completely stand-alone.

Kara is definitely an endearing character and the book is very successful at capturing that aspect of her, along with a rebellious nature and her fierce attitude. I just wish the art had been better in this issue.

Kara has found a great new foe in this issue. The story is very interesting, the pace is perfect and just makes me crave for more Supergirl. This title is definitely off to a great start so far. Even the art was on point.

The whole scenes on Argos felt cheesy and easy, resorting to simple clichés and the same pathos that can be found in any story involving dead parents, and the general art in this issue was a let down. I find it strange that the art varies so much from one issue to the other while Asrar is always the one in command. All in all, that issue was not as well executed as the beginning of the series.

It is heart-warming to see how Kara has evolved in just a handful of issues. She has met her cousin, come to terms with her parents' and her civilisation's deaths, she has started mastering her own powers, and now she has finally passed her metaphorical trial. However, the ending and conclusion are a bit rushed for my taste, and with such a fast evolution, I'm wondering how many issues this title will be able to deliver before it runs out of steam.

I, for one, did not like the new direction taken by either the story, or the art. It took so long for Kara and her new friend to get to the end that it felt like at least one third of the panels were just fillers. Disappointing return to the adventure of my favourite Kryptonian.

Much better art than in the previous issue in my humble opinion. However, I still don't really like where the story is going. For some reason, I never liked it when magic and the Superman characters mixed, it always felt wrong to me.

Very enjoyable issue. Overall, the art is good and so is the writing. Definitely a good origins story for Kara.

I used to LOVE this title to death (well, the monthly title actually), but since it has returned in both its weekly and monthly formats, I have been less than impressed by it. It's too much information, too quick and too many characters. Gives me headache every week, and this week, it as no exception.

I don't know much about comics, as I am only a relatively new comer to this world, but Nicola Scott's work is amazing, and even more so in this issue. I cannot wait to see what they have in store for Green Lantern's return to life and for the rest as well. The final cliffhanger left me wanting more.

Wow.

In my opinion, comics, much like TV shows and movies, should follow the simple rule of "sow, don't tell". This one doesn't, there is way too much dialogue which makes the issue feel really heavy (as pointed out by someone above). It also breaks the pace of the story which is already quite slow in this issue.

Thank god they got those new costumes cause I could not get over Jean's ressemblance to Batgirl... Other than that, still too much dialogue, and the art is still great.

Passable stories, passable art, there is not much to say about this book in general. The only thing I actually like about it is Batman's little patchwork of followers, it's quite amusing to see Catwoman, Batgirl, Batwoman and Harley work together.

The story seems back on track, but the art did nothing for me.

If Dazzler is not the most annoying character in a comic book, ever, she definitely comes close. The art is still terrible, but the story largely makes up for it this time.

Yet another title by men, for men. Instead of living up to the legend of one of DC's most iconic female characters, Winick and March reduce Saline to her curves and sexual appetites. Too bad because some parts of the story were actually fun, and there is so much that could be done with the duality of the character.

I hate the art so much, it feels like an Emma Frost comic... As to the writing, it's ok, even though it was really stupid to kill Lola off so quickly.

This book has so many promising ideas (Lola, leaving Gotham...), but the execution of these ideas (killing Lola off, staying in Gotham) is always a let down.

Sheer massacre.

This book has gone from being one of the New 52's worst titles to being one of the best. Hell, it hardly gets any better than this. The art is superb, the colours are incredible, and the writing is next to flawless. I simply wish DC had re-branded the title to something like "Selina Kyle", like they did with Grayson, because I'm afraid that Nocenti has ruined the Catwoman name for readers who could potentially be interested in reading the story. If this book is an example of what the post-Convergence DC line-up will look like, then this is super exciting.

I don't understand the purpose of this "new" Stormwatch. The art is still very good but the story seems to be going nowhere, or everywhere all at once, without any purpose.

For the first time in a long while, I actually found myself enjoying reading the adventures of this new and improved Stormwatch team. Let's see where they go with this.

Extremax worked in mines on a planet called "Minaria". Seriously? And I work in a café on planet called Cafeïa... I really hope they stop this non-sense soon (especially cause issues revolving around Midnighter and Apollo are always interesting).

They're doing too much. You have two big threats (possibly 3 if you count A.I of which we know very little) over the Earth and Stormwatch, and you end up getting lost is this poorly planned plot. + the art is not very good.

What a fantastic ending to a not always incredible saga. Stormwatch has failed to reach the cult status it sometimes deserved, but this final chapter is one for the ages.

The thing is, I don't care enoguh about those characters to care and get invested.

Perfect example of a comic that has stuff to offer, yet does not deliver at all. Not being too familiar with the Outlaws, I cam into this with no expectations but to be entertained, and even that wasn't fullfilled.

Batwoman's story was well written, if a bit too fast-paced for me. the other two, not so much.
