This is a generational run that is defining Diana in the most emotionally resonant way. Truly transcendent in it's execution when it is all said and done this tale all ready has opened new depths to the character of Diana. in the darkness of the circumstance Kelly Thompson and Hayden Sherman manage to make Diana shine even brighter in this issue.

This is one of the darkest comics I have ever read. I have no idea how this will all play out and, I am just hoping that we start seeing some light at the end of this tunnel. Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta deliver a Batman unlike any other. Absolute Batman 12 crushes Bruce in new ways and somehow the worst is yet to be revealed.

Bane is a force that much was clear form the prior depictions of the man. And as we proceed into issue 11 we get to see who and what he is and how he operates through the lense of those that have experienced him. Alfred cannot imagine a way Bruce survives this abomination and this issue hammers down why. Clay Mann and Snyder deliver yet again and the worst is yet to come.

The Art on display in this series is gorgeous and the colors softly and adeptly enhance the tone that Ram V's scripts conveys. This issue is a reprieve an intermission to allow readers to take in the players in this cosmic opera as it moves to a new phase in this expensive conflict.

The New Gods are thriving as Ram V and Evan Cagle deliver a visual feast and narrative. The universal Opera takes shape as the players arrive on earth the stage has been set.

This book has truly hit its stride with the return of Nick Dragotta we have our first look at Absolute Bane and the sight is both striking and terrifying. Ark M is purposeful madness it is as crushing a site as its warden and all seems insurmountable. Scott Snyder delivers a haymaker of a start to this arc and I look forward to how this will all unfold.

Things cool off after the thrill ride that was the zoo. As Scott Snyder returns to his roots and Marcos does a great job of creating the authoritarian visage of Gotham.

The New Gods is one of the best illustrated books being currently distributed in comics with a story worthy of the Gods that inhabit it. Evan Cagle and Ram V ramp things up as conflicts that span universes take hold.

Absolute Batman #6 maintains the all gas no breaks approach as the story presses on through a break neck pace of action laced panels. Nick Dragotta and Scott Snyder have made a genuinely funny series within a bleak premise and I applaud them for it since it is a rare feat worthy of praise.

A welcome entry into a character deserving of a spotlight, and Jamal Campbell seems ready for the task well done.

Absolute Wonder Woman is another sensational installment in what is already a treasured foray in the Absolute universe. Prophecy, Mythic clashes, and new enemies await as this tale unfurls. Thompson and Hayden build upon the legend of Wonder Woman in fantastic and unique ways. A great story deserving of it's praise.

This title works as a continuation of Kirby's fourth world The New Gods Art is breath taking and Jesse lonergans art serves as a jarring reminder of the impending threat to the New Gods. Things slow down a bit with this issue but the imagery is still immaculate and Ram V captures the voices of all the moving cast beautifully.

This is as perfect a Wonder Woman rendition as I have seen since Kelly Sue's Historia in that it captures the essence of what a Wonder Woman is. Thompson and Hayden show us just how effortlessly Diana befits the title of Wonder Woman. Art is phenomenal and the work speaks for it self. Just an absolute breath of fresh air.
