Werneck and Messina deliver some great visuals throughout the issue. There are so many great character moments and characters in use. Every page has some great visual details to go over and enjoy. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Collier "CJ" Jennings

    Dec 01, 2021

X-Men: The Trial of Magneto #4 makes the baffling choice to sideline its titular character to the point where the series should have been given a different title. With only one issue left, I at least hope the series ends on a high note and puts the focus back on Magneto while resolving the identity of the Scarlet Witch's murderer. Read Full Review

I almost hate how gorgeous The Trial of Magneto #4 is, because it feels squandered on this lackluster script. I hope this reads better as a trade paperback because so far, it's not the best. Read Full Review

This is not the Trail of Magneto, this is yet another convoluted Wanda Maximoff story, and we are just the spectators. We are running low on time for answers. At this point, Im seeing this through to the end, and I hope that the end is worth it. Read Full Review

    The Comicbook Dispatch - StoryBabbler

In X-Men: The Trial of Magneto #4, Magneto's almost nowhere to be seen. The real focus is on the Scarlet Witch as she struggles to get herself together in the middle of all this chaos. However, the comic raises more questions than it answers, and the process of how Wanda resolves it, especially with her sons, is poorly executed. The only interesting thing left in this series is finding out who the killer is. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - David Harth

    Dec 08, 2021

X-Men: The Trial Of Magneto #4 is certainly a choice. This one definitely isn't it anymore for anyone who wanted an X-Men story. It's yet another piece of apologia for Scarlet Witch, but it does have some good moments. Williams is a good writer, but this book is just mystifying. The art is the best part of the thing, at least. Where it goes next is anyone's guess. Read Full Review
