In the end, despite containing a crucial moment in Young Thors life, this book felt like filler, only taking place between the moments of a better story. Its sad to see a great writer like Aaron stumble just as hes only steps away from the finish line, but it wont keep him from being remembered as one of the greatest Thor writers of all time. Truly epic penultimate issue to this series. Young Thor, Thor, King Thor, and Jane team up to take on Malekith and his army of Venom-infested soldiers. The battle is amazing and you can sense the awesomeness. Great issue

Another look at the climactic battle of the War, taken through the eyes of Viking Thor. Though it's in no danger of outdoing the main rendition in WotR #6, it's a clever, engaging, fully-satisfying yarn. It delivers some impressive closure to Viking Thor's long-running story. But it does feel like it was a spur-of-the-moment idea (a good one!) rather than something planned far in advance.

And suddenly i no longer give a damn whether i die and take every others Thor along with me. My only thoughts are for the one parent who's always shown me love and compassion over the years. Even when i didnt deserve it. Especially when i didnt deserve it. I think of her and i am moving instinctualy, punching her monstrous attacked over and over. With all the power in my fists. Yet something différent somehow. In some way... That i can't quite put my finger on. "

This tie in is actually pretty cool as it takes place during war of the realms 6 and adds mkre depth to the story. Definitely a solid read.

It makes no sense that the other Thors would feel it when young Thor gets hurt, and I wasn't a huge fan of the art, but this was still a fine issue.

This one takes place simultaneously with War of the Realms #6. So which to read first? I suggest reading the first couple pages of WotR #6, then read this issue, then finish WotR #6. I think this issue got too carried away by the end.
