Together both these writers took Thanos across the universe, into the future, and even coming back from certain death, which I think is her first name. He’s been everywhere and along the way showed us why he is not to be messed with. Great job! Truly fantastic! Must read!

Apr 11, 2018Thanos #18 is both a blessing and a curse. It's another great issue in an already stellar run of a wild story. What's a little disappointing is that this is the last issue of the series. Read Full Review

Apr 11, 2018I had a feeling when Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw were announced on this series that it was going to be epic after reading and loving God Country. I just did not know how epic it would turn out to be. Their run on Thanos has been incredible; with each and every issue they have delivered a story that mesmerizes the reader from page to page. Apr 18, 2018With so many stories from the future and heroes who worry about the inevitable outcomes. "Days of Future Past" for example. Thanos does the one thing no one seems to be able to. He made sure this particular future won't exist. While the gruesome tale is fun from start to finish. The deeper meaning gives this story a purpose that isn't superficial. Bravo Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw. Read Full Review

Apr 11, 2018If you love Thanos, you owe it to yourself to pick up this book. Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw bring their fabulous run on THANOS to a close with THANOS #18. It more than lives up to the hype. It's action-packed but also has a strong emotional center. This is easily of my favorite books of the year so far. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Gage Bullock
Apr 11, 2018This issue pits Mad Titan against Mad Titan and give you everything you could want from a Thanos comic. Thanos #18 works on every level with some amazing art and coloring, that really highlights the brutal fight between the two forces of nature. This comic is brutal, fun, nice paced, beautiful and also somewhat poetic in a way that give you the ending that you couldnt see coming but works so well and is truly the perfect ending to this run. Apr 12, 2018Thanos #18 ends this story in an incredible manner, and this is a tale of the Mad Titan that will surely be remembered for years to come. Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw, and Antonio Fabela have crafted something darkly beautiful here, and I highly recommend it. Give it a read. Read Full Review

JUST WOW! What is it left to be said? This story arc had me turning the pages like a madman and everything about this was stellar. When Thanos wins, we all win and an instant classic is born.

Welcome to the Oblivion Bar where the first round is on me and the pretzels are free! Be warned: like the pickled eggs at the bar, this issue is going to get SPOILED rotten. Well, Thanos won! The end. See you next week! But in all honesty, you could say I’m an idiot... many do... but I didn’t see the twist coming. Everyone is dead and it’s still not good enough for Mistress Death. Why you ask? Because everyone isn’t dead.... Thanos is still alive! That’s right people; old Thanos brought back his younger self to kill him... the only one that could do it! This was old Thanos’ plan the entire time. So they fight and the younger Thanos lays the smack down on old Thanos’ candy ass until he realizes something... his future self... he’s a weak little turd. So he beats the poop out of him and steals the part of the infinity gem so he can go back to his time and change his future. You see; young Thanos doesn’t want to be a whiny baby to Deaths every whim. He’s a new man now! But the ending is the best part. Old Thanos doesn’t understand why Death still won’t talk to him even after killing everyone in the universe. He tried to kill himself but it didn’t take. So, he wonders why she still won’t give him the time of day? Well once Young Thanos leaves, he changes the timeline making this whipped Thanos fade away. Honestly, Thanos needs to quit Death! For real! I know many will say this story was pointless if it all goes away. To that I say, we see a progression in his character. He was lost and now, he’s a new man. He is someone you shouldn’t mess with again. Thanos got his groove back! Watch out world! Thanos is coming and according to Cates, he’s coming this summer! This was a great series overall even before Cates. During his run, it was even better! The story telling and art together really are amazing. There is nothing like a good alternate reality story that has meaning to the regular continuity that really gets me hooke more

My favourite series in the entire MARVEL LEGACY relaunch has come to an end and boyy does it end well. This was awesome. Especially for Thanos fans and even Marvel fans in general. It is a must read for all of them. Because there is a big chance for this Thanos character, especially his motivations. But i have to say, his motivations of seeking the love of Mistress Death by killing everyone has never been my favourite villain motivation. But Donny Cates and crew has changed it and i finally know what this Thanos Wins arc means for the bigger Marvel Universe. I simply thought this series is putting a close to this arc but instead this is actually a set up for something big to come....possibly leading into Infinity Countdown. I am real ly happy with the change of Thanos' motives. He no more is the love seeking Thanos and I hope he stays like that forever. Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw have done a great job. But the stand out here is Antonio Fabela with oustanding colouring!!! It also took me a while to understand the ending and the Mistress Death character though. Her gestures in some panels looked weird and wasnt a fan of the art on her. She looked like a Japanese anime character. Other than that i had no problem with this book. Overall, great ending and a great set up for whats to come. Loved what they did with Thanos. Cant wait to see what Thanos does after this. Donny Cates and team were great. Also, this book had great action and violence. To simplify all this, this book was just an awesome read. What a ride this Thanos Wins arc has been!!! #THIS IS HOW MARVEL COMICS SHOULD BE AND FEEL LIKE! more

The story ends, inevitably, with Thanos-on-Thanos action. Plus a cruel twist; Thanos demands nothing less. Undoubtedly great, but short of perfect because the narrator yammered about how meaningful things were instead of injecting actual meaning. Or just shutting up and letting the art carry the story - that was an option too. Also, I'll be the one to say it: That's Sandman Death from the DC universe wearing some anti-copyright-infringement face tattoos.

probably my favorite "villain" series. I love Jeff Lemiere and Donny Cates run that showed why Thanos is a badass, and the Silver Surfer with Mjolnir fight was AWESOME.
