SciFiPulse - Ian Cullen
Jun 16, 2025OverallOverall, this is a solid issue that pushes the story forward in meaningful ways. The only real criticism is that it leans a little too heavily on Luke's quest for the Crown, while giving relatively little attention to Leia and Mon Mothma's diplomatic struggle with the Pirrosi. A bit more narrative balance between the two threads could have strengthened the pacing and added more political tension. That said, it's likely we'll see more development on that front in the next issue, so it's too early to judge too harshly. Read Full Review

Jun 11, 2025Phil Noto might be my favorite artist in all of comics right now. I'd really have to sit down and write that list down, but when it comes to Star Wars absolutely nobody comes close. He does an incredible job capturing the likeness of Luke in a 2D format. Every panel in this issue is immaculately drawn, and Clayton's letters compliment the artwork so beautifully. Clayton & Noto are an incredible tandem, and are perfect for this series. Read Full Review
