Continues to be good-ish. I don't have huge problems with this, but it could be better.

I continue to enjoy this series. Some of the dialogue and inner dialogue by Normie hasn't sound like something a child would say, and it pulls me out of the story. That didn't happen in this issue. Though I did question Norman throwing a pumpkin grenade at his grandson. Luckily he was right about the symbiote. I like Norman trying to protect Normie and the random guy trying to steal the armor.

A lower rating seems warranted as, while this isnt bad by any means and I still like the story, it seems a bit all over the place. The ending is nice, and I would like to see some resolution to that dangling plot line. Good overall, and I like Normie. Seems like this is the end of the current story though with the next issue being Carnage Reigns tie in. Kind of disrupts things.

Once again with this series, this book is a solid read. Of course, I do think that there's a lot here that could be better, but it's still good. It's difficult for me to come up with something unique to say with each issue, as I've found myself feeling generally the same about all four issues so far.

Normie and his grandpa clearing the air and exposing their secrets is a vital bit of drama. And the grim outcome shown here is compelling and full of possibilities for the future.
The attempt to complicate the story and make it more tense by throwing a little industrial espionage into the mix isn't wholly successful. The two plot threads come together at the perfect time, with the perfect effect, but the rest of the security guard's story (particularly the start) isn't so compelling.
The art's solid throughout, and most of the dialogue is good--but some of it isn't. While I'm a big fan of both Paknadel and Normie, I have to admit the word "apparatus" is something that just sounds *wrong* coming out of a tween.
