Jed MacKay seems right at home writing Spidey and it's nice to read a different writer's vision/take on Spidey. I'd certainly like to see him writing him again in the future. A mini or satellite book perhaps Marvel?? Read Full Review

A fun story that is reminiscent of Spider-Man’s Friendly Neighbourhood origin stories, it’s only let down by the fact that the story doesn’t tie in very well with the King in Black event. Someone forgot that Parker currently has his hands full dealing with Knull and isn’t just swinging around helping out innocent bystanders. An entertaining story that feels more like it’s designed to introduce readers to Reptil before his solo event later on in the year. The art looks great throughout the comic, and both art teams really bring their A-Game. Read Full Review

I love this event, even the fantastic 4 ones that surprised me. I have this beautiful piece of art in my hands, the comic is beautifully illustrated from beginning to end. Spider Oh! my beloved Peter blames himself for having brought the symbiote, but he is not at all guilty, if we remember who it was that really brought him to earth. But Peter is a human being in all the extension, he shows weakness, but his strength is greater. And he will not be defeated.

Unfortunately where I live comics lagged behind, so I bought the digital one. And I'm not going to put it online. YOU WANT TO SEE IT BUY IT. Spiderman the original, Peter Parker has been my favorite hero for many years and is doing it again now that I am resuming Marvel due to the disaster that DC is bringing (I became a fan of Jason Todd), the part that I love about Peter is that You can identify with him, Spider is not a cold hero, he feels, cries, laughs, his comments are great, the best dialogues I have seen in a comic. It hurts to see that he blames himself for the whole King Symbiote mess. A twist shakes him and he comes out in action, all the confusion was very funny. That's not all there is someone who reminds him who he is, who he fights for. The dialogue is great, it does not fall into exaggeration, the funny moments make you laugh. And that's why I love what Marvel does, its writers and artists. IF IT WAS WORTH THE DOUBLE PURCHASE. now just wait for the physical book. more

Im a little late but this book was phenomenal. Good old fashioned suprrheroing featuring a guy im not even familiar with, Reptil! He's a very cool hero and I hope he goes far.

Overwhelmed by King In Black and close to panicking, Spider-Man gains some much-needed retail heroing inspiration by teaming up with Reptil. It's mainly a launching pad for Reptil's upcoming solo series, but exquisite characterization and strong art make it a refreshing one-shot that brings a fresh, positive perspective to Spidey. The connection to the KiB event is a bit glitchy, but this comic is strong enough to excuse a few continuity issues.

Loved this one, one of the best tie-ins of this event. Really well-written, smart and has a lot of great comedy. While this was more of a Reptil story, I really didn't mind it.

This wasn't needed : a childish tie-in for a serious series. Shit like this further drives the nail in the coffin for Spider-Man's respectability , as David's run on the "Symbiote" series further raises it. I wish they would have sticked to "Symbiote" and thrown the script for this stupidly annoying shit in the trash. The Cap one-shot accomplished everything this book did, but with a mature take. The two stories in this just makes Marvel's mascot look like he's still riding on training wheels, even though he's older than the kid he's teaming up with to save some annoying ass composite old hag and some military personell. - Audiomack.com/cvrthebard
