Incredible Hulk #11 concludes the story with Frozen Charlotte as Hulk finally faces the monstrous villainess so he can rescue Charlie. The fight is okay but nothing about it is exciting until it gets near the end, where Frozen Charlotte kind of enters her second phase like a boss battle in a video game. It also doesn't help that the comic basically drops her whole backstory on us and the Hulk in the middle of the fight, at what is essentially the last minute in this story arc. We have little context for any of it, so some people will understandably be scratching their heads when they read it. Read Full Review

The Incredible Hulk #11 acts as a highlight for the series by presenting one of the most fleshed-out and intriguing monsters for Hulk to smash since the beginning. That said, the rinse-and-repeat cycle of smashing one new monster after another has grown tediously repetitive, and the cycle of guest artists fails to live up to Nic Klein's work from the beginning of the series. A good ending for the creepy Frozen Charlotte arc. A pity about the art, but the story is still good.

The story is really good, but I just wished the art was better. If the art was by Nic Klein, then this would be a lot higher.

But I think daspidaboy and many are pointing out that Klein brings the story to life. Some artists are just like that, they can elevate a story. Picture is worth a thousand words after all. Additionally the story isnt the worst thing this issue, but the art is actively harming it.

I liked it for what it was, but I think it would have really benefitted from having a different artist. I don't think Earls is necessarily a bad artist or anything. I just think that, perhaps, his talents would be better suited on another book. That said, I did like the story and the writing a good amount.

A solid twist ending aside, this was an underwhelming conclusion to the book’s weakest arc. I’m still quite fond of it, but I’m also glad to be moving on.

I think I'm on board with everyone else. The story is going nowhere and Earls on art is not good for this book. Even the cliffhanger feels more like a Constantine book than a Hulk book I'm hoping he can turn it around. https://youtu.be/kXKCSq3o1V0

It wasn't as horrible as last issue but still bad. I'm just not sure what they are going for in this arc. The ending was a little interesting, but it was a chore to get through.
