Comics: The Gathering - Nick Devonald
May 12, 2021This is an exciting time to be a Guardians fan. If the series continues like this it will end up being one of, if not THE, best Guardians run. Al Ewing is really leaning into the teams remit as quite literal Guardians of the Galaxy and the stakes have never felt higher, the storytelling and art on a new level. Readers owe it to themselves to get onboard this insane rollercoaster ride now or risk losing out on the most exciting Guardians story of the past decade. Read Full Review

May 18, 2021OverallThis story arc is proving to be a rather good Guardians of the Galaxy story. And as someone that is still quite new to reading their comic book adventures. I can't wait to see how they will fair against Ego. Who we last got to see in the second of the movies. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Quinn
May 12, 2021While some of the dialogue may require background information on the two antagonists to appreciate fully, these two new characters are written just as well as the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy, creating some fun back-and-forth dialogue. And, of course, the artwork is wonderful. Read Full Review

May 12, 2021Guardians of the Galaxy #14 delivers on exactly what it promises: Dr. Doom vs. the Guardians of the Galaxy. There's action, humor, mysteries, and big reveals in this comic book that you don't want to miss. The art and colors by Juan Frigeri and Federico Blue are excellent and Al Ewing captures the best of Dr. Doom's character. That said, I'm not too sold on the great doctor being part of the Guardians, so we'll see what Al Ewing does with that in the next issue. Read Full Review

COMICON - Tony Thornley
May 13, 2021The Guardians are in it deep as Doom tries to take control of the team. The writing is a blast, the art is getting more exciting and the team gets in it deep. It's a horrifying build up to something evil on the horizon (but also a hell of a lot of fun). Read Full Review
