This was a typical issue of this current series. Nothing special, but well-made and interesting. I'm curious about what Kingpin has been up to in his absence, since supposedly having Jesus scared into him. This seems to be the month of major characters breaking up with the randos they're with (Matt here, MJ in Venom, Spidey's been on rocky ground with his lady for a bit now). And that's fine, I didn't mind either rando partner but they don't add much to the story and sometimes it feels like they just add new random side characters hoping they catch on rather than intentionally crafting a character to serve a real purpose.

Plot
Daredevil is back and begins cleaning up Hell's Kitchen's criminals. But a call from Elektra changes everything, as she leads him to a crime scene involving one of the executives of the NOUVELLE corporation, who was responsible for hiring Taskmaster to eliminate Daredevil in the previous installment.
The first scene shows how the victim was disfigured with a laser weapon, and written in blood is the phrase "CHASTENING OF THE ALMIGHTY," something like PUNISHMENT OF THE ALMIGHTY.
Elektra and Daredevil go to a dive bar to look for information when they are attacked by the Wrecker, whom they manage to defeat and who gives them a lead. But suddenly, they hear a scream. There's been another murder of a Nouvelle executive with the same
phrase written on the wall, and everything points to the Kingpin... he's back and wants to eliminate Nouvelle from his territory.
Art
It's highly detailed, with well-rendered anatomy and classic action elements. It's mesmerizing, successfully highlighting the violence of the script's scenes.
Summary
Daredevil and Elektra follow the trail of a series of violent murders that leads them to an old enemy who was thought to be missing. more

I'm really surprised at how the Nyla relationship stuff went from great to bad so quickly. It kind of feels like we are rushing to just wrap up Ahmed's run as soon as possible all of the sudden and I'm not a fan.
Elektra and Matt solving a murder was more interesting and even got a little gruesome. They even go to the Bar with No Name and battle one of the Wrecking Crew. It's fun stuff, but some of the writing was a little tacky (other parts were great at least).

Let's be for real.. it has some merit. It's just ok, but it's not that good. We need a new writer and new cover artist. That cover is horrendous. The interior art was actually pretty good.
