Avengers #32 is recap mixed with setup, and by the end, we add more elements to a story that is lacking progression and focus. I liked the art, but when I get excited to see a couple of Avengers in a couple of panels, something is off. Unfortunately, that something is this book off of my pull list. Read Full Review

I’ve never been a fan of the way Aaron portrays these Avengers, but he nails the villains. Absolutely nails them. Killer last page that proves that Avengers is still one of the most interesting Marvel comics month in month out.

I really like these set up issues. There has been a lot of ideas introduced in this Avengers run with little follow up. This issue starts connected some dots that really needed connecting. The only parts I found boring was the pages with Blade. The whole blah blah blah I don’t belong in the Avengers boring stuff. Aside from that, all the antagonists coming together, slowly working in the 1,000,000 bc storyline into the present, I’m excited to see where this leads. It’s just looking like more detour stories for the next few months with Moon Knight. I like Moon Knight, it could be good, but my overall gripe with this series is there will be an interesting idea put out there and then side track with another story for 6 months without touching on it again. Here’s to hoping all the many parts come together in the end. more

Once again another issue of avengers that falls short of being great. Its never bad but its never great. Just get on with the show soon though. Its just crazy we get this issue and next one starts the moon knight story

It's not bad but has so much potential wasted by stupid things like Namor at a bar getting played by a bartender....seriously? Also the art gets my appetite wet with some amazing opening pages by MsGuinness only to get Manna's art for most of the issue. This bate and switch is killing me and my interest in this story.

It pains me to write this but after reading this latest issue I couldn't stop myself. The comic opens brilliantly, two super full page shots of Namor and some super writing...sadly it doesn't last and by page 3 we have the embarrassing concept of the 'Davy Jones Saloon' and a veiled reference to the - happily lost in the past - RACIST joke about dogs, blacks and Irishmen!!!!!!!!! I could go on BUT I don't have the time. Sales say it all. This should be one of Marvel's premier books and yet it's not; a strange mix of adult, adolescent and childish themes, humour and ideas...it's a mess! Is this the same Thor who appears in the fabulous new comic by Donny Cates???!!! Please everyone help save this book and tell Marvel what's going wrong.
