Ant-Man #3

This issue was a great, complete story from beginning to end. The art was good and Nick Spencer really knows how to write Scott. My only realy complaint it I want more with Scott and the ants because what we get is so damn good! I can easily recommend this issue and even if you haven't read the first two of the series, give this one a try and I bet you will love it! Read Full Review

Dylan Burnetts style is perfect for this character and the world this story takes place in. As serious as the threat is, the story takes a light, fun approach to the events and Burnetts style of art works perfectly with that. Read Full Review

Ant-Man #3, at its core, is an issue about the relationship between Scott and his daughter Cassie. While Scott tries to prove he’s not a loser, we get to have fun seeing him be one. His interactions with the Avengers, Spidey, and Black Cat aren’t just hilarious, they help build upon that core story. And, while there is fun being had, the threat Ant-Man faces is no joke. Zeb hit his stride with this issue. The dialogue is absolutely hilarious and a love how Lang's daughter is impressed with him for making Spider-Man jealous.

Prelude: Ant-Man has been an entertaining read so far so let's see how this issue goes. The Good: This was a fun issue. It's interesting seeing Scott's place in the MU. I enjoyed the continuity on this one The Bad: I'm not sold on the art. Conclusion: This was a fun issue to read that tied into past events. It'll be interesting to see where this mini goes as it picks up steam.

Cassie deconstructing the Ant-Man-Black-Cat-Spider-Man dynamic was both necessary and heartwarming. It was a little expository, but the benefits heavily outweighed the drawbacks.
