Nick Spencer and Kev Walker's "Who Runs The World?" arc wraps up in a bonkers, fun, and zippy way that plays to all of Spencer's strengths as a writer. While I wish we had found out what's going on with Kingpin and Boomerang (which we probably will next issue), I thoroughly enjoyed this issue. This arc was really just a Superior Foes follow-up, and I understand that some may dislike how much that takes Peter out of the spotlight, but I love the Superior Foes series and so I'm definitely okay with this.

I feel like Spidey hasn't really been the focus of this book since before Hunted. I really hope he comes back to being front and center. That isn't to say I haven't been enjoying ASM, I just wish Peter was more of a focus. At least we have Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man for that.

Feel the same way, it feels like this book has been focusing more on Boomerang and the Superior Foes, and Spider-Man is just our viewpoint on what's going on with those characters

Well this book has turned into The Spidey Foes with a guest role by Spider-Man. It's enjoyable for what it is but it does not feel like the Amazing Spider-Man book we got last year. I hope we get that focus back on where it is needed.

This series should be renamed to Superior Foes of Spider-Man and some Spider-Man. It focuses so much on Boomerang and the other foes, like why is Spider-Man even the main character. I know a lot of people love this run, but in my opinion the strongest thing about the run is the art. It doesn't feel like anything special to me, which sucks because Spider-Man is one of my favorite characters in Marvel. I love Ottley's art, but he isn't always the main artist, alternating between mostly Humberto Ramos and other random artists. The story arcs that I thought were good was the first one where he separated into Peter Parker and Spider-Man, that was a good character study into why Peter Parker is Spider-Man not the reverse, and the Hunted stor yline, mainly because we haven't seen Kraven in a long time, and it was fun to see him back. The only thing I look forward to in this series is the potential undoing of One More Day. more

This will no doubt please those who enjoyed Superior Foes. There's solid chemistry between the characters and the plot is enjoyable. I'm just not convinced that the pages of ASM are the best place for this. Not to mention, the jabbery millennial banter just isn't to my tastes. Kev Walker's pencils suit the tone (cartoony and light-hearted) and frame the action pretty well. Glad fans of Superior Foes got their fix but I am personally looking forward to next issue when Peter's front and centre again.

I feel like I just read a 22 page webcomic parody of Spider-man. If every character is your comedy relief, where is your relief from the "comedy"? It would be nice to get one must-read arc of ASM. So far the closest one to me would be the J. Jonah Jameson one.
