The Rocketfellers “Family Odysseys” launch caught my attention when it was teased in Ghost Machine #1 earlier this year. I'll admit, I had some pretty high hopes for this book and it more than exceeded expectations. It would have been easy for the creative team to just play with sci-fi tropes for this family of time-displaced castaways, but they found a way to ground the sci-fi component and lean into the human element for a truly unique story. I will give credit to the Ghost Machine creators, each of these books feels distinctly different. The Rocketfellersfits perfectly into an existing gap in the comic book industry, and I couldn't be more excited to see where the family's adventures go from here. I would be shocked if you didn't enjoy this book. Read Full Review

The Rocketfellers is a perfect blend of action, mystery, and family. Whether your kids are on a can phone, an iPhone, or a Holo-Phone, certain family dynamics seem to transcend time, and The Rocketfellers are no different. The present and the future are beautifully intertwined to tell this unique story in a fun, futuristic, yet relatable way. The cherry on top of an already amazing cliff hanger ending, was seeing that the next issue is about to get a little merry. Read Full Review

THE ROCKETFELLERS #1 is the strongest debut series from Ghost Machine to date, with a time-traveling family on the run from nefarious forces. Peter J. Tomasi's script gives you the full range of action, emotion, and energy to make every moment memorable, and Francis Manupal's art is the best it's ever been. Read Full Review

The Rocketfellers #1 kicks off with a thrilling and visually stunning debut that establishes a compelling premise for a time-traveling family while offering a fresh twist on familiar sci-fi tropes. Francis Manapul's art dazzles with vibrant designs and dynamic action, creating a world that feels both futuristic and relatable. While the ensemble cast struggles to break free from archetypes in this introductory issue, the series' originality, adventurous tone, and intriguing setup hold great promise for deeper character development in future installments.
