This issue was a certified banger and I can't wait to see the final showdown between SG and Zorak. Pepose creates a rich and deep history for this world in only a finite amount of space. His understanding of this world and its lore shows and he passes that passion on to the reader. The art team takes that passion on puts it to the page in every single panel. The colors are vibrant and playful while not risking too much of the seriousness of the settings. High marks all the way around! Read Full Review

SPACE GHOST #4 is one of the best issues yet. Space Ghost #4 is an exciting story that reimagines Zorak in a compelling way and leaves it on a cliffhanger rather than wrapping it up easily, leaving readers hungry for more. There is also only a small tease of Space Ghosts previous battles with Zorak, so it would be interesting to know how Zorak first came in contact with Space Ghost and if any new information will be revealed about him next issue. Space Ghost and Zorak clearly have a long history and it definitely seems necessary to give us more information about these versions of the characters. What do you think will happen next? Everything seems to be moving in the right direction for the fourth issue with the series. It's very difficult to bring a truly sweeping adventure to the page with this sort of property. It wasn't even really taken all that seriously when it was originally presented on TV. So bring it to the page and wave that feels like it's actually taking the fantasy and the adventure and the menace of the villain seriously is quite an accomplishment. Read Full Review

'Space Ghost' continues to be one of the most consistently entertaining comics on the stands right now. Plot Zorak, the psychopath and fanatic leader of the Lokar cult, escapes from prison and Space Ghost warns Jan and Jace to stay on the Ghost Planet while he heads to an old lair to see if he can get a lead. Loke is a being who lives in another dimension and who Zorak wants to bring to our reality and destroy it. Space Ghost falls into a trap and faces the Titanor robot, which Zorak left there to attack him. The battle is epic and large-scale. Jan, Jace and Blip receive a call for help from the planet GRAX-3 where a Hadron Collider has been taken over by someone. This trio of helpers heads to the site disobeying Space Ghost's order. On Grax-3, Jan, Jace and Blip are caught by Zorak. Now he asks Space Ghost for a ransom, his gang s for the lives of the three. Exciting installment that leaves the ending open and prepares us for what will be a battle against Zorak. As a fan of this original animated series from Hanna-Barbera, as well as the famous Late Night Show from Cartoon Network from the 1990s, it is exciting to see how they take the classic elements of this character and extrapolate it with a minimalist and precise vision. Art Showing how powerful this hero is from the technology of his bracelets to his superhuman strength, it is organic art with many textures. Summary Jan, Jace and Blip are about to discover how dangerous Zorak is while Space Ghost must surrender. Zorak is formally introduced in this new comic series. A mix between the Lone Ranger and Star Wars with a dizzying and dramatic narrative pace! more

One of the best parts of this series is it helps Space ghost escape the pea-brained nincompoop image Coast to Coast gave him. This issue also helps give a new take on Zorak, hose image was also greatly tarnished in that show. Pepose did a splendid job giving him this image as an actual badass villain. One Space Ghost insisted the kids not confront. It's like how Batman didn't want Tim Drake taking on the Joker in his rookie days. I also enjoyed the battle with Titanor. Space Ghost's rogues gallery has also been portrayed splendidly so far. I'm already in anticipation for Moltar, who is still 2 issues away. I truly get the feeling here that I used to get when I'd look to see what adventure and foe awaited Batman in the next issue when I'd r ead about him growing up. The best part is Pepose can wrap these stories up in 2-3 parts rather than take up most of the year with a 6-8 part story like Marvel and DC like to do now. This issue delivers on everything I could ask for in a good comic. Something less and less comics seem to do anymore. I'm looking forward to the conclusion next issue. Space Ghost is a series that just seems to only get better with every issue. more

One of the standout aspects of this series is Pepose's approach to storytelling. Each issue has its own individual episodic arc, yet they all build towards a larger, overarching plot. This issue is no exception, as we're finally introduced to the sinister villain Zorak, who makes an immediate impact on the story and sets up a major conflict that will play out between him and Space Ghost. I'm excited to see how Pepose continues to build this world now that Zorak has been introduced as a major antagonist. The art by Jonathan Lau and colors by Andrew Dalhouse are another highlight of the issue. Lau's use of different panel styles keeps pages fresh, and his action sequences have a kinetic energy that's perfect for a space opera. A standout f ight sequence in this issue showcases Dalhouse's skill with colors, as he brings energy powers to life with a vibrant palette that pops against a dark background. Overall, Space Ghost #4 is an entertaining comic that's sure to please fans of the character and newcomers alike. With its blend of nostalgia and fresh storytelling, I'd definitely recommend catching up on the series if you haven't already. It seems like the world-building Pepose did in the first three issues is starting to pay off, and I'm eager to see where the story goes from here! more

We finally meet Zorak in this issue and ww are quickly shown why he's most prominent among Space Ghosts foes This rendition of Zorak is terrifying and sinister in the best way. Revamped as the leader of a sadistic alien death cult his introduction and presence carries a lot of weight, but hes shown to be calculating and cunning in addition to his might. His design here is awesome and easily recognizable while fitting with the environment the art style has carried so far. Space Ghost himself gets a pretty epic showing, and Jan and Jace continue to have agency in the story as sidekicks although their B plot is weaker than the main. This series remains better than anyone was expecting it to be.

I agree with everyone's review that this the best issue of the series thus far. We have Space Ghost fighting Titanor and getting his butt kicked for the majority of the issue.
