I am also a bit hazy on the seven Crises that are being referred to throughout this series. I read an awful lot of books now that I am reviewing them, and its entirely possible I have missed or forgotten something, but I sure would like a clear listing of which seven events are being cited. Patrick Gleason shares art duties with John Tims. Tims' art matches up somewhat favorable with Gleason, but it's too early in the run for shared art duties. Sure Bendis is Bendising, but it's the good kind of Bendising. It's written in a very fun way, with cool art and action. If you're looking for something fun and very superhero-y to read, there are much worse books I could think of than this one. I recommend it, go read it. Read Full Review

As a part of a larger arc, the story is fine. The issue's OK, but every multi-part storyline these days could do with one less issue and when the Seven Crises arc is wrapped up, I feel like this could be the issue that was more enjoyable padding then essential read. Gemworld aside........ and that's going to be a pretty big thing to try and put aside this issue, I liked what we got from our Young Justice heroes and loved the art overall.  I just wish that we didn't have to have these issues happening in Gemworld because if you're not really into that aspect of DC Comics and know little about it....... So, I get it. We know littl about Gemworld and little has been explained about it. So those not familiar with Gemworld will have questions and Bendis is doing a slow build from that stand point. However, we get Conner Kent, Bart Allen, Cassie Sandsmark, and The Drake back together again, which is what I’ve been waiting for. The art is bright and colorful and I see potential from this comic, I just wish it moved a bit faster. I need more questions answered and I feel the flashbacks are filling in gaps that would have been easier if the story was told straight through.. I’m still in mainly for the direction I hope this takes. As for my hopes, I hope we find out that Conner is the baby dad of Wrynn who eventually grows up to be Mor dru, who then becomes the villain for the Legion of Super heroes!!! I know it’s a stretch now but he’s already got one kid so..... more

I really enjoy the writing and the artwork here, but the problem is that it's been four issues now and the story has barely moved anywhere. Things do seem to be picking up now, and, hopefully, the book will improve.

Eh not fan of the art. Wish DC would just announce this was either out of continuity or just say this is going to be rewrite some stuff that happened in Rebirth. Issue felt forced on some stuff. But hey other than that, ok issue and great to see the Tim, Cass, Connor, and Bart hug!

The new series continues to let me down every month, and as much as I would love to read a comic with these particular characters, this ain't it. The story feels so disjointed, poorly explained and executed, it really is hard for me to enjoy it. The bonding moment between Cassie, Tim, Conner and Bart was sweet, and I guess we all waited for it to happen, but it, alone, is not enough to keep this issue afloat. So far I'm really disappointed, not even because the comic itself is terrible, but because I've got way higher expectations for it and hoped it's going to be amazing. Instead, it's... just mediocre.

idk why but I'm just so uncomfortable with Connor having a kid...also this arc just really isn't very appealing to me. But i do appreciate Bendis deciding to put the team back together.
